Easy Sudoku for 29/August/2009

and..in three words, I can sum up everything I've learned about life...
It goes on.

A group of friars lived in a monastery. As with many monasteries, the friars found it necessary to run a small business to support themselves. They ran a floral shop. One day one of the friars brought in an exquisite find... a Venus fly trap. It was such a cute thing, they couldn't bear to sell it, so they just kept it on display. But after a while, it grew so big that flies were no longer enough to satisfy it. It ate cockroaches, but it kept growing. It ate mice, but it still kept growing. It ate chipmunks, squirrels, cats, then raccoons and dogs and ponies. Finally the villagers got wise to this and attempted to put a stop to it. But try as they might, no one could. One way or another, the friars outsmarted the townsfolk and raided their farms for large animals. Finally the villagers pooled their money and hired a professional named Hugh to come in and capture the friars. Hugh stormed the monastery, destroyed the fly trap, captured the friars, and turned them over to the police.

The moral of this story is:
Only Hugh can prevent florist friars.

Woman's Answer:
One!
ONLY ONE!!!! And do you know WHY? Because no one else in this house knows HOW to change a light bulb! They don't even know that the bulb is BURNED OUT!! They would sit in the dark for THREE DAYS before they figured it out. And, once they figured it out, they wouldn't be able to find the #&%!* light bulbs despite the fact that they've been in the SAME CABINET for the past 17 YEARS! But if they did, by some miracle of God, actually find them, 2 DAYS LATER, the chair they dragged to stand on to change the STUPID light bulb would STILL BE IN THE SAME SPOT!!!!! AND UNDERNEATH IT WOULD BE THE WRAPPER THE FREAKING LIGHT BULBS CAME IN!!! BECAUSE NO ONE EVER PICKS UP OR CARRIES OUT THE GARBAGE!!!! IT'S A WONDER WE HAVEN'T ALL SUFFOCATED FROM THE PILES OF GARBAGE THAT ARE A FOOT DEEP THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE!! IT WOULD TAKE AN ARMY TO CLEAN THIS PLACE! AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON WHO CHANGES THE TOILET PAPER ROLL!!

Wish I had time to do the puzzles, but Jaime and I have been locked in a battle for the computer lately. And because what he needs the computer for could result in $$$, he wins! Oh well, I'll just have to dig up one of my old Sudoku books. C you later.

Would love to have two computers, but we don't have room. In any event, Jaime detests computers, so as soon as this business deal he's working on is done, he'll be out of my hair! Normally, he spends 10 minutes a day - MAX - on the computer.

My clutch is replaced, more bite than a small spider...I've stalled the car three times already, driving barefoot down the drive was not, perhaps, a good idea...

I'm glad all your parts are in working order, andré. Now perhaps you might want to invest in a pair of shoes.

Was out of commission due to a faulty modem for a day. Well longer on and off. But . . . tada I installed a new one today. Called my son twice and the cable company to find out you have to get the cable company to activate the silly thing!

Surely the ckue was the key. Everyone would be board to know more wouldn't they.
