WOW!!! working....lol,and I managed to get Topps...It sure is HHH here Stella...we have been stuck in the rising temps for awhile,now comes the humidy. How are you feeling today?

The page has been acting up lately. Don't know why. Maybe the site is straining under all of the activity!

I agree...its really getting funky now...

Feeling better today. But you know it takes a bit to get back to 100%. Of course, the humidity doesn't help when it drains all of your energy. Inside in the AC at the moment but S#2 has soccer tryouts later for next year's team.

Let's see, Jenni, Gail and I talked about how we met our hubby's and how long we've been together. We had a discussion on the drinking age as well. I was happy that it was raised to 21 but apparently the rest of the world finds that unreasonable.

Yes, but you must be careful about staying outside to long in this heat...Is there a shaded viewing area at the soccer park? I'm sure you take plenty of sports drinks and water while there. How about a tent or at least an umbrella?

There is very little shade there but an umbrella is a good idea. We'll have to pack a cooler to keep the drinks cool too.

Hmmmm, I agree with the age of 21 for drinking, voting,driving w/o restrictions and a host of other things.....some of the topics sound like fun reading...I'll skim a little later.

Hi Miz T...I was thrown out for awhile...Stella, my hubby was in my sister's group of friends...I was just 17 when I first saw him...we married when I was 19. Its a long story...but its been good for going on 52 years now.

A second marriage for us. I met Al at a parents without partners dance. I went with a friend who did not like going by herself. Was actually dating someone else at the time! Danced with him a few times, and he came to ask me to stop by a club that had a good oldies band playing. Turns out the oldies band was the week BEFORE and some punk rock band with speakers big enough for a stadium was playing in a very small venue!!I nOdded and smiled a lot! hehehe

Has there been any more drama on Easy? I haven't been on there since the changeover.

Stella, about the drinking age, i think somehow the Aussies youngsters might be a bit more responsible about thier drinking. I know several who say son will not come home if drinking at friends, they spend the night. Also, maybe the teenage deaths are not as high, like back many years ago here, not as many people on the roads, a much smaller population. think that might be part of the picture??

I have not been to the easy page today either, Stella. I got a late start today and have not done a LOT of things I usually have done by now.

It is sunny right now but we keep getting warnings that severe thunder storms are popping up. HHH makes the atmosphere very volatile.

Did MAMA get bumped again? Been 15 min since her last comment.

It's not just the driving though, it is the reckless behavior and impairment of judgment. Plus there are so many sick people out there that will put things into drinks. You hear about it every day.

Maybe Mama is just visiting around.

Looks like they are discussing yesterday on page one.

Trying to get some paperwork for schools done today. It's a pain in the neck.
