Stella were you talking about a roundabout? Is it true you can get your driving licence at 16 in US?

Yes, the kids can get Jr. licences at 16. They have started to add more restrictions though than what they use to have. Some states want to raise the age because so many kids are dying behind the wheel.

Thanks Stella - we call it a roundabout. We have had them for years (& in Canberra there are heaps), but people don't always know what to do here either, although it isn't that much of a problem.
Hi Lynda - MizT wants us to put the alien smilie on when we have a problem

Is there a limit to the performance of the car? I feel that the youngsters are driving cars too powerful for their driving ability.

They call them roundabouts here too, but I just call them rotary because the other ones were always called circles which are bigger. Yes, you can get a restricted license in NY at 16. Each state has their own requirements. I think there are states that give them at 14!

Watching new show 'Singing Bee' where they have to complete the lyrics to songs. It seems like all there are nowadays are reality/game shows. It is kind of funny some of the words that people come up with.

Gath if you come back, I still can't get to the second page of the recipe page - it says 'be the first to comment' and shows none of the previous posts that were on that page. Can someone else go there & have a look to see if they have the same problem?
