Are you planning to try for it? I don't think there is any special meaning behind it - other than when Jenni was finally fed up with the problems we were having and asked Gath to start a new page.

Is that what we are shooting for, 9037? I think the page will probably crash before that, somewhere in the 7000's.

I was just thinking today that a new page might be needed. We were having so many problems. All of this chatter is overloading the server. Hal can't take it.

Right now I can't say there are any problems, but sometimes the gremlins are at work.

Thanks for bringing some French back to me. It's been more than 30 years, and I only had 1 year.

JULIE< GAIL, have not caught up to you folks yet, but wanted to add my 2 cents worth. that pineapple sage cake is delish! I had a bite once and knew glas from all over USA that grew the pineapple sage and made the cake.

there is also a recipe for Lemon VERBENA cookies. Lemon Verbena is different from Lemon balm, and dries retaining the scent. lemon Verbena smells more like lemons than a bowl of lemons can, just like lemons, but much more intense. I once grew all the flavored mints, and had a pineapple mint, ( different from the sage, but mighty good) and chocolate mint, and orange, grapefruit, and lots of others. We swapped mints around and at one time I had 45 containers of mint , about 25 different flavors. i lost all of them over the years, and lost contact with the gals who grew them.

Topper we don't have a problem with wrens in Oz! The other things yes but not wrens, we do all we can to protect them.

It is not at all sociable, like this one, but technically, it has one aspect that is very useful, filling in possibilities automatically. Since that is purely a mechanical task, I don't think it's cheating, and I do use it for the tough ones.

It's good to know that the recipe will actually work. Now, I need to read up more on the sages AND the mints and find out what will grow here, and where to purchase it.

Oh the mints were great, you can find some of them for sale in nurseries, but mints propergate so well, and we found a way to package and mail them ONLY in the USA, never over seas.

Topper, have you emailed Gath to suggest that option. Sounds like it would speed things up a bit cos some 'toughs' take for ever to fill!

Hi, Gail! You and MizTricia rejoined us at about the same time - just in time to get me interested in growing mints. SO much to learn.

I'll also need to research sources for all the sages and mints & see what will work here.

Topper, I have a sudoku game on my computer that fille in possibilities, too. that works nicely when you want to get the game started quickly.
