I'm not sure. I don't get any sound. I'm using netscape, but also keep a lot of sounds off cos they annoy me. If you sent an email, then it would appear at the top of their page, so I supppose at the top of any page... provided we check it.

if you think kittens on the roof are noisy, then you haven't heard koala bears. They also make the most frightful growls to mark their territory.

Who knew cute little Koalas could be a problem! Do they climb on your roof often? The growls would frighten me I am sure! i guess if I had been raised with koalas around, I wold be accustomed to them, but still think it would be unnerving. Do you live in an isolated spot? or is this a problem even in urban areas there?

This is so exciting to find 2 friends here! It has been so quiet lately.

We still haven't burnt the grass trees, too windy. We might have to get a machete and cut off their skirts to lessen the hazard. H spent all weekend putting up an 8 foot fence round the place to keep out the kangaroos, now they come in the front gate!

Lynda, you must live in a somewhat rural area. I can't imagine kangaroos coming in the front gate in urban or suburban areas.

Hi Julie, yes it is pouring with rain, we are due to get storms and gales later so don't be surprised if I vanish. I was chatting with Becky the other day and the power went off! Very annoying. How are you both?

It is a bit rural, five to ten acre blocks, we are only about a mile outside a biggish town. The kangaroos are comming more into the towns because of the drought. They are quite happy eating people's gardens and just love golf courses of which we have many around here.
