Boy, it's a bit cold in here, no one been in for hours. So I will just make myself comfie, sit in my recliner, help myself to a glass of bubbly, & see if anyone comes by. everyone

How is Uni going...

Hi Rola, I was just nodding off - glad you woke me up.

long time no see, missed you last Friday..
so how are things. How is Chef.

Uni is good (I think). The workload is quite heavy at the moment, there is an essay due Monday week, so that plus all the other reading I have to do is keeping me busy. I started clinical this week, & it was quite scary to go into the hospital after 15 years, but after a very short time my confidence improved & I really enjoyed it

Chef is well, although we haven't seen much of each other this week. I have worked 2 evening shifts & he got called in to work this evening, & he was gone by the time I came home from work (my old work)

Was reading a little about your party for #1, is it this weekend?

Uni started up again this week for my #2 boy !!
#1 boy is taking this semester off

no, the party is on the 18th.

the same day as the Perth Breakfast for Jaz/Melbourne visit, Billy is organising. unfortunately unable to go.

That's a shame, but I'm sure your party will be fun (even with the music that you don't like)!!

What else have you been up to lately. And is there any goss that I've missed out on?

hehe yes even with the orrible music. should be a fun day..
my cousin's son (also 21)- they live in Sydney - is flying over for the party. he and #1 get on well.

And do you have lots of your friends coming as well?

What is #1 doing this semester if he's not studying?

Haven't been on here much of late. been very busy at home, with sick members of the family..
and with getting things organised for the Party!!
the weekend plans: is tidy up outside, Garden / Brick Paving Maintenance (weeding), clean the BBQ etc etc

#1 is taking the break from Study. He will go back next year semester 1. He has 18 months left of the 5 year course. feeling a bit burnt out!!
He has a casual job at Uni in their Website Department. and he runs his own (small) Web Designing business.

we have lots of his friends coming to the party, family and some of our friends coming as well!!

It seems that there isn't nearly as much chatter on this page, but that was inevitable I spose. Still good to see that people come by from time to time.
Who has been sick in your family? Not too serious I hope.
I can understand why #1 would want to take a break - I feel like that already (teehee)

I am sure you will have a couple of busy weekends getting the outside area ready for a party. There is always so much work involved to get ready for those sorts of things, especially in winter, when things are a little more neglected

I spose I'd better go and organise some dinner for myself, it's almost 8pm here, I could waste away to a shadow if I didn't drag myself away.

You know it is hot when the cats ask to go out, you ouopen the door for them, and they make a quick U turn, back inside and go lie in front of the fan heheheh.

REally need to get on grass cutting again, huumm, I guess I never borrowed the lawn mower smilie! but I have a good escuse, riding mower needs repair, Hubby cannot get th epart till he takes off the mower deck and goes to the auto parts shop, cause they made too many different mower decks for that model mower. I shall try with the weed eater to make me a path to the car and the shop, though.

Just been to see the rock eistedford that I made the monks costumes for. A lot of work for 8 minutes but the performance was good and the students enjoyed themselves. I do not think they will make the final. They were competing against schools that have been participating for many years and also private schools with a lot more money to spend. (this school goes into a disadvantaged catergory)However it gives these kids a real sense of achievement. Ages from 13 to 18 years.
It is good to be back home although we did have a really great trip. Five weeks away leaves a lot of jobs to catch up on now we are back.
I do not think I will be reading the last 150 pages since we left so hope I have not missed too much news/gossip?

Good afternoon all! Lunch time so I thought I would check while it is quiet here to see if I could get on the net.(couldn't get on last night) My knee was too stiff for tennis this morning so we took my mom to the mini golf course. It was fun. Now we're (not my mom)going to hike over to the new reservoir to check it out. We'll be checking out tomorrow. Of course, the kids are having so much fun that they want to stay another week!
Nice to see you back June! 5 weeks is a LONG time! Can't wait to see the pics!
