The weather here in Perth is wet and gale force winds.

We have slow cooked lamb shanks tonight for dinner, any takers?

There is a roaring log fire, it is all nice and cosy.

There must be something good on TV.

Perhaps I will go and soak in some bubbles.

Books took a back seat today, all the computers were turned off due to the weather.

Some months ago we were struck by lightening and it took some time to get up and running again, so now we just shut down when we hear thunder. Has it stopped raining over your way yet?

So has the weather settled? It wasn't even very cold here today. The fire went out yesterday because we got low on wood, again, but didn't bother lighting it at all today as it was quite pleasant.

Thought I would change my avatar, there was getting to be a bit of a stampede.

I expect the weather we had today will make its way over there, you had better get log chopping, or delegate.

Haven't had rain for a few days now. It comes in fits and starts! Hubby is always paranoid about pooter failures due to blackouts so everyone knows, as soon as you hear thunder, turn em off! He has a power backup for just in case. Gives you time to shut down properly.

So have we, unfortunately the hit we got was on the telephone line, we had forgotten to disconnect it. The phone junctiion box was blown off the wall across the garden, the retic controllers were melted. It was quite an event.

If I got off my fat and spotty occasionally I'd take the ute to the woodyard. But it really is nice just to ring and get some delivered, have to wait till payday though.

Guess who made it for me? Bet you don't need more than one guess.

We buy ours in, otherwise we have to travel miles and miles into the bush and go to an approved area and cut our own, too old for that nowadays.

My nearest and dearest has just informed me the bubbles are just the right temp, isn't he good to run a bath for me?

So I must be off now, I am so pleased you dropped in, I was getting very lonely.

I'm really sorry about this Lynda but I have to love and leave you. The roast veg are ready and I have to stop the children from gnawing on my leg somehow! Hope someone pops in soon to keep you company. No doubt I'll look in after dinner for a few minutes so if I don't catch you then, maybe tomorrow. Ciao for now.

Good morning all! Out early this morning to watch S#1 play soccer. They played well again and won. We're back home in between the games. Will be heading out shortly. I see it's bee pretty quiet here. The two youngest were home this morning and by the time we got back, they were at each others throats!

I'm going to kill one or the other. They are driving me crazy!!! You know the old arguments - she's humming, his gameboy makes too much noise, he's touching me, she hit me..... What fun! I think I'll leave early for the game!
