June, thank you for the TOPP on page 57! Welcome back! So sorry about the head cold; hopefully it will soon be gone! Hopefully you and Laura can have a nice quiet evening and sleep well! Will she be with you all day tomorrow?

Welcome back, Rolanda! I hope all the things that need to be done go quickly!

Brenda, how nice that you had good weather for your 4-day weekend! We'll try to duplicate or do even better for next weekend; thinking positive thoughts!

Cyn, your friend Jenny certainly had a horrible weekend! Hopefully that kind of string of bad luck will never duplicate for her! The good news is that she didn't have a heart attack!

Theresa, what a horrible long-term weather forecast! At least it says mix of SUN and cloud on Saturday. Hoping that the reason sun is mentioned first is because they expect more sun than cloud! Thinking of you and sending {{{{HUGS}}}}! Wonderful news that your D is walking with a cane and actually walked around the block! Good for her! She's making steady progress!

Heidi, so sorry that your weather forecast mimics Theresa's! I think we're expecting some rain every day, as well! Oh, well, it's good for the plants if there isn't too much.

Theresa, we haven't been able to turn our heat off yet. We're even keeping our winter coats available. We didn't wear them today, but should have. Between the cool temperatures and the wind, we were freezing.

Heidi, I hope the tornado stayed away from you and also veered away from your friends' farms!

MizT, thanks for the weather update! I hope none of the horrible storminess comes near you - and not too much rain, either!

Rolanda, I hope you got everywhere you needed to be on time! It's always tough when you oversleep!

MizT, thanks for sharing about the triplet calves. Truly amazing!

MIzT, I hope the indigestion left and you are able to sleep well tonight!

Really think my positive attitude has annoyed my ex employers today Julie, went back in to sort a couple of things out with a big smile on my face. It worked.

Well done Broni, there is nothing better than annoying an ex by being happy. Whether that be an ex partner or employer.

Suzy, there is always something on the news or in the papers about the wedding. Monday and Tuesday was about the guest list and the seating plan. This morning there was a rehearsal of the military parade. Other items have been about the floral decoration but no secrets have been given away as to what they will look like. Though it does seem as if Kate and William have had a lot of input into their wedding.

Brenda, know so well what you are saying about the "ex" but this time I am confident within myself, it is my life.

Broni, you look good every day!

Two wedding stories - Princess Diana's astrologer says the date they have chosen is not good. And several royals are very upset because Kate is going to wear her hair down instead of up... Important stuff that!

You seem to be getting more stories than I am reading but then again I don't read newspapers I see the news on line and hear some on the radio on a morning or when I am in the car.

Morning all. Coffee is ready help yourself. Theresa, it is a big pot so there is plenty for you.
Heidi, hope all is well and the tornadoes did not affect you. There have been some nasty storms this winter. Too much destruction and too many deaths.

Nite June, morning topsiders. Already had a 2 hour sojourn in the dome this morning. A line of T storms with strong straight line winds and some embedded tornadoes coming toward us at fast clip, so we grabbed our essentials and walked out, without coffee!! Wind was strong for about 5 minutes, lights flickered twice, but all is well for this storm. We are advised there is a high possibility of a severe outbreak of tornadoes later this afternoon, so must keep a weather eye open.

Today is one day we do NOT want sunshine. The more heating during the day, the more energy for the storms, the worse they can be. Hope the clouds hang around.

June, hope tonight is a restful night for you dear. sending sand man to help out.

Suzy just has some really good online news sites, she finds news none of us ever find!

Rolanda, hope you get that heater inside, no fun to be cold!

Theresa, enjoy your coffee. I have made mine since I got back inside.

Broni, way to go girl, and of course you looked good today!

I think I shall do a quick check of the mail, then try to get a nap this morning. Usually I am not even up yet so is it really a nap?

Hugs to each of you, with extras.

I'll post before reading this page....

I survived the all-night storm. Barely. The dogs freaked all night, so I've only had a short nap this morning. I'm a zombie. I don't know what kind of damage we have yet, but we've had way too much rain.

Broni.... in cattle, when there are twins, there's only a sterility issue if they are a heifer and a bull calf. The testosterone from the bull passes through the placentas and renders the heifer calf sterile. The bull calf is normal. There have been so few cases of triplets, especially surviving triplets, with 2 heifers and a bull, that it's an unknown phenomenon. The only way to tell is to have those 2 heifers examined by a Vet to see if they have functional reproductive systems.

MizT, hoping you have a cold, cloudy day!!! It is later this afternoon now so I will be waiting anxiously for your next check in...

June, I hope you got some sleep last night and feel better today

Heidi, hope your storms settle down too.

I don't remember it being this bad for either of you last year...

We've had a fair bit of rain overnight, but it's not pouring down - a good soaking rain. Not that we need that right now, but it's always good.

Marriage story of the day - an obsessed fan has had Will and Kate tattooed on his teeth. They say we all get our 15 minutes of fame one way or the other (can't remember who 'they' are) and he chose this???

This is not good, there are 10 tornado warnings in Alabama, at one time. that is ten tornadoes, and they have confirmation that 5 of them at least are on the ground. some of the others are not in our "viewing area" so forecasters mention those only in passing. A dangerous and deadly afternoon! They for the moment are north of us and west of us, but fore long they will move into our area and I shall have to shut down and go to dome again.

Suzy, it was not this bad last year, or in many many years, if ever. forecasters are also saying these are big and powerful tornadoes, long track tornadoes, meaning on the ground a long time. I am hearing UNPRECEDENTED over and over.

From weather map, it appears Heidi had a day of thunderstiorms, an all day event, but t the moment, there are no tornado warnings for her state, and no severe T storms. Just your plain old dump-a-lot-of-water t storms.

I need to start building an ark. The rain had been coming down in buckets all day, with lots of rolling thunder. The rain gutters and sump pump can't keep up with it, and we're dealing with flooding again. We have never had weather like this here.... and that includes the time it rained for nearly 40 days and half of Kentucky was underwater. The house is on high ground and should be flood proof. But we've had non stop gully washers for a week now.

Oh this is so scarry. Tordadoes with such large debris fields they can be seen on radar. That is proff positive they are large, powerful and on the ground. Saw some viewer submitted photos of damage, a subdivision showing a blank spot, just foundations, no houses. Reports of debris falling from the sky miles away from the tornado. These tornadoes are sounding like one of the strongest tornadoes ever to hit Alabama, back in 1998, and we are having A LOT OF THEM that big today and more to come tonight.

Still just windy here, I am still in the house, cause when it is time to go to dome I shall be there for hours, putting it off as long as I can.

Suzy, they say this line of storms will be out of the state by 11 pm, should be out of our area a bit sooner, perhaps by 10. That is 5 hours from now. Gonna be a rocky 5 hours.
