Quite a lot cooler. The forecast was for snow this morning but it only rained. It's a little early for snow, we usually don't get any until November.

I wish we could get some rain. It's so dry here. Could you push some down our way?

Am I here on my lonesome,too? It's six hours since anyone posted. Quiet here as well. D#1 and associated grandchildren have gone out. I fell asleep in front of the fire but a bit early for yet.

Boy do I need my coffee this morning! hope it kicks in soon.

We are getting warmer here today, forecast for 88. that is a bit warm for October. Cloudy, humid, where is my cool crisp dry weather? If we must have humidity, how about some RAIN? It has been a while since we had a rain, my grass could use some.

Not much color in the trees, a few turning a bit yellow, with it being dry, we may not get a pretty fall foilage display. Often leaves go from green to gone, or green to brown to gone. I think this will be one of those years.

Did you get the last lot I sent? Apparently, one of the kids changed the setting on the camera, and of course, I had no idea, so the pic I am going to put up on my page will take a little fudging around.

Back in a mo

Nothing new in my hotmail box, Gail, not even junk mail. MizT, we've had lots of wind here. The beach has been eroded by the big waves which makes it hard for me. There is a 1/2 metre cliff at the foot of the track. So I thought I could get down... which I did... but then had to get up again. merlin had no problems. I had to dig a step with my walking stick and lever myself up. Since it was cold there was no-one around so my loss of dignity did not matter.

Very wild and woolly tonight, dino. The rain has stopped at the mo but it was positively bucketing down a minute ago. Lightening and thunder, the whole box and dice!

I'm very sorry but I'm going to have to love you and leave you as well, Dino. I've been yawning my silly head off for a while now, that was the clunk you just heard! Plus the thunder sounds like it is directly overhead again so it is time for me to huddle under the blankets till one of the kids needs me to pretend that thunder is not scary!

Same here. It's back up into the high 80's again and waiting for rain.
Doing better than last night.

Today I contacted the insurance department and our carrier. Our carrier is taking over my claim. She's on the "war path" with the other adjuster.

Good. I hope they get you fixed up. Your state, I presume, has an insurance commission that is there for you if this doesn't work.
