Hi Brenda, You asked the other day about spring in NSW. Cooler today but yesterday was a record as it got to 35c (about 96F). A bit warm for this part of the year.
Laura had an endascope today and it showed that she has more than 5 stomache ulcers. We now have to find out what is causing them and how they are to be treated. At least we now know what her problem is. Laura was two last August.

Oh June I am sorry to hear that Laura has ulcer problems. You would never think that a child as young as that could suffer from ulcers. I hope they find ot what is causing them and fix the problem soon so she can get back to having a problem free childhood

Hi Brenda, June. I've been catching up on the party debate. Sorry to hear about Laura's ulcers. I would not have thought that such a young child could suffer from them. What treatment is available for her?

OK. I didn't read your post properly, Brenda.
This is because I have started the MCC (Memory Challenged Club) I do hope that something positive can be done for her. it must be quite painful.

I wouldn't worry about the name mix ups, it happens to the best of us... ask my kids. I can be talking to one of them and then call them by a wrong name...sometimes go through the whole lot of their names before getting the correct one

My knee is doing well. Saw Doc and then went for acupuncture session. I do get impatient with myself at times. I always think I should heal faster than anyone else.

It's the right knee. I injured it badly in a bicycle accident about 20 years ago, then osteoarthritis set in. The other knee will almost certainly go the same way but it was been treated more kindly in my flight over the handlebars.

well my son and my dog are the two males in the immediate family... everyone else is female. Jack and Jake would be far too much for me!

I have osteoarthritis in both my knees, the left one started off 24 yrs ago when I twisted my knee whilst bending correctly to pick something up whilst I was pregnant with my daughter... for years I bent incorrectly with no problems at all
eventually I will need a replacement but over here you have to be immobile before you get that done

Thanks Brenda and Dino,Apparently ulcers in children is more common than we thought. After the results of the biopsy they will determine treatment. She should then become a much better eater.
My Mum had an old English Sheepdog called geoffrey AND a grandson called Geoffrey. Got very confusing when the grandson came to visit.

HI EVERYONE! Boy, I miss a day amd miss a LOT! My BIL came to visit yesterday, and got here EARLY! We had a nice visit, but kept me busy away from the computer yesterday.
I think Rolanda will accept our "party" on her pages as we intended, a fun thing. I think she will be home Friday, Hubby was just to go fetch her, was my understanding, not stay the weekend. I could be wrong, that has happened before, but rarely!

Well done MizT. You can't go wrong with Sag Bot.
I'm off to bed, I can hardly keep my eyes open. Way too many late nights sat right in this very spot!
I just wanted to say what a great bunch of people you all are who frequent SA meetings. We are all so supportive of each other. It gives me great comfort.

What's going on? What did I miss? I don't have time to read the comments yet, but something must have happened regarding Rolanda's party. Geez, I miss everything, I don't know what's going on! But of course, this wouldn't be the first time I have no clue.
Have to get back to last minute stuff!!! Have a good day!
Love you all and miss you all! (I hope it wasn't something I did inadverdently.)

Hi MizT, Stella and Brenda.
Stella, we miss you too! If I don't talk to you before the in-laws arrive, have a good time. Don't worry if everything doesn't get done. They're coming to visit and probably wouldn't notice if you missed something. Relax and enjoy your time together.
