When Laura had her party we kept the food as natural as possible. Some home made little cakes and sausage rolls, packets of all natural lollies. Small sandwiches with either ham or vegemite. I just loved the littlies putting tomato ketchup onto their cakes!

OH MY, 3 pages!! that is a lot to check for on every package label! AND you cannot asume because you checked that brand of ____ and it was safe last time, that it is safe this time! They do change recipes and formulas often enugh it would be risky! How do the grand's allergies manifest? My daughter was more behavioral, she became hyper and when she was asked how it made her feel, said she wanted to run and scream and bite.

June, that party sounds like fun! I'm truly amazed about ketchup & little ones. Our grand also likes ketchup. (We never gave it to our children when they were that small.) And, MizT, our grand is in Massachusetts, while we are in Illinois - a 2-hour flight. We try to visit every couple of months. This time it was almost 3 months, and I was having terrible withdrawal, especially when hearing about all the talking.

Long time since I have turned a page! I have a lot of friends who swear by water aerobics. I might now make back to bed. Sleeeping in a normal bed while Hubby is still in the water bed so have to get myself warm again. It was cool yesterday and last night (got to 19c after a high of 33c the day before.)One day we had the aircon and the next night the heater.

Chocolate was NOT allowed! and after she was 10 and her father and I had seperated, he would bring her home from his weekend with her after taking her to a local chain resturant famous for it's hot fudge cake sundies, and that is what he fed her! Then sent her to me to deal with the behavior!! He did not believe she still had allergies, was the story I got!

Allergies are HUGE hives & a little bit of breathing difficulty, so far. An "Epi Pen" for the allergies always goes with our grand in the diaper bag. Even had an allergic episode in the hospital while being treated for another allergic reaction and strep infection. A previously-used antibiotic caused a reaction.

OH JULIE, how frightening, when formerly safe things cause allergies!! Yes, that is very serious when breathing is affected by allergies, so I know your daughter worries a lot. I am glad you get to visit often and are able to fly over to visit! Would be a long hard drive!

Know how you feel Julie, our two grandsons live in Melbourne which is just over an hour flight. The eldest also has behavioral problems with artificial colouring and preservatives. By law products have to have them listed on the label but can be quite a pain shopping before they come to visit.
I am really going back to bed. Night all. Have enjoyed the chat.

MizT, I'm so glad we got here at nearly the same time and could chat. Now, I'm afraid, it's time to fix some lunch for hubby. Maybe the same for you? Hope we meet here again later!

Hi to those who will be getting to the site in the next few hours, including Stella, Becky, Ruby, Cindy, Rolanda, Gail, Lynda, Rena, Brenda, etc. I'm sorry for those I've missed.

OH JUNE, I once had that problem warming up once the weather turned cold. THEN I found this blanket, micro fiber, called MINK, and I would be lost without it now! I am really considering buying another if I find one, as my " safety" . Well, I do have a back up throw of similar fabric, that does the same. No matter how cold I am, and I would have icy feet, even knees and an area of my hipe that were cold to touch, but give me 10 minutes with that blanket in skin contact, and I AM WARM! I wake up toasty warm and no cold sport and it really helps the achey bones. Yes, I sleep in a shorty nightgown or sleep shirt so legs and hips are in contact with the blanket, no sheet between and it has made a difference in my life!

YEAH, I can get back on to SA3! This afternoon all I got was a very long wait and then a white page, once again!

I shall sleep better tonight knowing Sudokuland is safely functioning once again.

MizT - I read your post about your super blankie, and I want to let you know about some fantastic new sheets made of fuzzy microfiber - probably the same fabric as your throw. They're $50 a set (any size). I saw them in a recent Domestications catalog. I think their web address is www.domestications.com.

I was just thinking of changing my home page photo but it always takes me ages to work out flicker where I can resize the photos for the gallery or to submit quite easily.

Just reread my last statement and it was very ambiguous. I have an old iPhoto Plus4 which I have used for years and I can downsize easily on that. It is just doing the flickr bit. Photo gallery is a breeze.

Because I have only used it twice it just takes me time to rework out what I am doing. I am downsizing some photos now to add to my gallery.

I have one I need to download from my camera for my flickr pic on my page. I took a picture of a mural that you see when you first drive in to Christina Lake from the west. They painted it this summer and it is beautiful.

Do you have to use Flicker for the welcome photo on your page? I'm preparing to sally forth into the world of photography just for the sake of my page and I don't like Flicker. Stella now has a Flicker friend (not a good thing) because of her account.
