well, I've had my and the is out so I'm off to plant a grevillea I bought this afternoon to fill in a gap where a tree came down.

So the grevillea is now planted and watered and still no-one's here. Well. I'll see what's on tele then

I'm angry as thunder. I have an appointment at 9:00, and its 5;00, and I've had no sleep.

oh dear could it be that the apprehension over the appointment is keeping you awake? I know I get that way if worried about something

I wish I could say I was much improved but I feel washed out. I am improving but it is taking soooooo long. I'm not used to being ill. I suffer with arthritus but just get on with life with that but to be ill with flu is a novelty I don't want to get used to

No. But it's an hour and fifteen minute drive through the country ... a lulling hour and fifteen minutes. I hate sleeping and driving.

I get a flu shot every year.

I can't summon up the energy to write my Christmas cards at present, and have even missed the last posting date for overseas cards. Never mind I will send them all a nice e-card

It is a bad time to be sick. You'll be OK for the celebration, but the preparation....

In the UK people over the age of 65 and those with breathing problems get a free flu jab every year. I have never had any problems before, very rarely get a cold so didn't see the point in paying for a jab.(I still have a few years to go before I reach 65)

You can buy e-cards, can't you?

My shoping for presents will have to be condensed into one big spending spree once I feel up to going somewhere. Fortunately for the kids we have used the internet and have their main gifts sorted. Just need to buy some bits and pieces for them.

I have an account with a lovely E-card provider. www.jacquilawson.com Jacqui sent a card for fun to her friends a few years ago and they loved it and passed it around their friends. She decided that it might make a nice little business for herself and now she has loads of different types of cards on her site

I have three kids at home, but we have three step children around too. They are not young children youngest is 16 nearly 17

We lost our phone (and internet )connection with a storm on Friday and only back today so just catching up but probably missed everyone.At the moment we now only have one phone line and not yet on broadband so wii not be on the computer very much. .

June, I'm off to Sydney for a meeting. Spent hour and half on phone tonight in preparation. We are putting together a post-graduate diploma for Buddhist counsellors and psychotherapists. So my head is reeling and desperately wants to sleep, but is too speedy. So I thought a good chat might help.
