RUBY, we were lower temps than you were! I think low was 20 and wind chills even lower!

Would you believe we have a FIRE ADVISORY for later today? the relative humidity will be below 25% and winds will be breezy, but they also mentioned the WARM WEATHER?? Like a high of 32 ( 0C) is WARM?

I think today might be a good day to wash and hang out my thick towels, sunny, breezy and low humidity, they might dry quickly, if they do not freeze on the line!

Ruby, I'm sorry I missed you last night. Yes, it was late for me, and I promptly went to bed. Hope all is well. BTW, you're seeing warmer temperatures than we are (hovering around zero F* plus or minus a few depending on time of day). Now off to do some "stuff."

Have noticed that the dyslexic oddities that I [and a few others -Mizt?] have been prone too increased dramatically while the server was dropping us off with gay abandon right left and center....I'm hoping it is due to my frantic efforts to post before we drop off into that black hole again?
If not I'm concerned as to where my marbles have gone...hope it's not early onset Alzheimer's disease....Arghhhh!!!!!
Maybe I'm just tired from staying on tooooooooo long whenever I have found the site up and running and just need to get more sleep...

BEAN, I agree, yes, dyslexia really increased for me when having trouble with site! and yes, I spent more time here, when I got on site, cause I might not get back again! And i made some very interesting dyslexic typos too hehehe

We are sad, aren't we? It is the chat, and the friends, and the community I crave. heck during all this trouble on the site, I do not think I have solved a sudoku puzzle , oh my! I spent all my spare time finding new and interesting ways to navigate on the site!

I can't believe this happened! I wrote a very long message that described yesterday's activities, and it was sucked into the cyberspace black hole!

Good morning all! It's been a while! Cold here, 4*F, with a wind chill of -5!

Went to Boston yesterday for Bryana's birthday. Left mucho early and made it there on fumes. (gas is cheaper in Massachucetts) Sunny, but cold! First time driving when there wasn't a blizzard or torrential rain!

Got there in time for church. Bryana looked good and she was happy to see us. (me and S#2) We headed to BC after church to pick up Meghan. I made a brownie cake and hubby made her sugar cookies. We had the cake with candles at Meghan's suite and then went into the center of Boston to the Prudential Center. It's an upscale mall (Saks and Lord and Taylor) We ate lunch at the Cheesecake Factory (which is usually impossible to get into) The food was delicious and Bryana loved it. Dropped Meghan back off at BC and went back to Bryana's room. She showed me all of the cards she got. (I saw the ones from Lynda and Becky, they were so cute, thank you!) She really loved getting all of the mail! The mailman told her she must have a lot of family and friends to get all of that mail. She loved it!! The drive back started at sunset, which was absolutely gorgeous! Not fond of driving in the dark, but at least the weather was good. Got back in time to see the season finale of "The Amazing Race." All in all, it was an excellent day!

This is spookie.... I don't have any smilies and there is supposed to have been 9506 post on here, the last being from MizT. I log in and get to my last post which was number 9501. I know there are still problems but this is strange
