Whew! A few of us have been trying to access the site and zipping e-mails about. Good to see we're back in business. Maybe this was the changeover to the new server.

I can't believe I was able to follow this link. This is just a test. Will be back tomorrow or the next day to check things out unless I get an email telling me that things are back to normal.
Wait....is there a "normal" in sudokuland?

OK, from the time, looks like I accessed the temp server.
I have found a good time site, by major cities.

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

Gives you the current time on opening page . Might help us stay in touch with reality

Had a tough day yesterday without access to Sudoku. At first, it seemed that I was the only one, then got on briefly, then lost it entirely. Poor Gath! What a headache this must be for him!

CynB, I had birthday greetings typed and pressed Submit, then lost SA3 yesterday. Happy Belated!

Had a lovely evening last night. Meeting up with Lynne/Kannahooka and friend, Susan/Ingham and family, Billy, Mel and Mary.
It was a warm balmy evening, overlooking the Swan River in Fremantle.

ROLANDA, today it is cold, damp with frozen stuff falling from the sky. We luckily are staying just above freezing, so no accumilation, but boy it is cold! Oh I forgot the wind. we are getting around to our winter now, brushy. Unseasonably cold, and just a week ago, we had unseasonably warm. Not sure what normal is any more, strange weather, BUT we need this 24 hours of a steady falling of percipitation!

BECKY, thank you for the links, that is how I got here, mine still do not work. Yours are magic again, forum came up and I could nagivage from there! I was having withdrawal symptoms for sure.

I did have a chat today with Jeb and CeeCee, in chat room, that was fun! Strange that chat room seems to work when nothing else does.

The chatroom works because it has a different 'url'. Don't ask me what that means specifically but it is not at sudoku.com.au, it is at sudokuchat.net, so it is probably at a different server and that is why we can always access it.

Well, I'm here. It was bitterly cold yesterday morning and just a shade better today. It's 10:00 and about 40F now. Every time I've looked at the Weather Channel for the last two days the girl had her hand over Rena's neighborhood drawing cold arctic air down to us. Thanks for stopping her, Rena. We've had no precipitation, either, MizT. However, school children are praying for snow.

I'm still here. I have a bad case of sinusitus, so. in an attempt to keep from getting bronchitus, I went to the doctor this afternoon. (His scale still isn't right.) I threw money all over his office and the drug store. Now, let's see what happens.

Rolanda, it's not that long ago you were wishing for the hotter weather now you have it you want the cooler weather. I think we are all the same never happy with the weather. Don't wish the weather away too soon. My brother and his wife are heading out to Perth on the 1st Feb (Port Kennedy to be more accurate) for a three week holiday with their daughter.

A perfect 25C (75F) would be ideal..
It is the extreme hot and cold we are never happy with.
Hope your brother and wife will enjoy their holiday here in the West, and the weather is perfect for them.

25C here is hot though we do have instances of it being hotter (highest temp here was 38C and that was one day in 2003) if we get temps of up to 20C for the summer then we think we have had a good summer anything over that is hot

Good Morning Miz Tricia. I think that your post is from this morning. Just checking things out to see what's what this morning. It is 8:40am CST January 17th here. The snow is coming down and I think the kids will end up coming home early from school. We're supposed to get 6-8 inches of snow by the time it's over. No big news to us, though.

It's raining on our little bit of snow, but the snow is not melting away very fast. What we do not need is ice. Ice and power lines don't play well together.
MizT, it seems we have your weather left over from yesterday.

Brenda, a friend's daughter travelled to the UK for a working holiday a couple of years ago. The temp went up to 24C and her boss warned her to drink lots of water and stay out of the sun. Here that would be a 'perfect', mild day, not too hot or too cold.
