It's peach season here in Ohio. The orchard should be sending me a card soon, giving the harvest dates of their apples. So will be buying about 10 pounds and making more desserts, breads, etc. for winter.

Good morning all! Busy day today here! Getting together all of the last minute stuff to bring Brendan. We'll be leaving early tomorrow morning to visit my mom. Every year we went to my parents for the long weekend (Labor Day) to celebrate my dad's birthday and go to the Fireman's Fair in my little hometown. This will be my first visit to the grave since my dad died last summer. We're heading out Sunday noon to go bring Brendan his stuff and watch his soccer team play. (Hopefully, he'll be one of the freshmen that gets to play, keep your fingers crossed!) We probably won't get home much before midnight.

Here is an easy one.

What two words, formed from different arrangements of the same seven letters, can be used to complete the sentence below?

As sure as there is a ______________ every day, a company that _______________ you against losses will find some loophole.

A popular proverb has been put into fancy language below. Can you put it back into its original form?

The most highly prized objects are often seen upon arrival as being contained in minuscule arrangements.

I hope it works. It will still take some time. It probably won't work immediately, but it should give you some relief. The heating pad has been a life saver for my hip and shoulder.

Hi ladies. Just taking a break.

Stella, hope Brendan gets to play. Are they playing on grass or rubber?

Please be careful driving. The news is saying the traffic is going to be bad, along with the usual characters out there.

Off to play easy, then more chores. Might stop back later.

Stella, thank you very much for your birthday greetings.
Sorry I haven't been around much lately, my life has turned into a mess of doctor's visits and medical tests--just what I wanted to retire for!
(the bad part is I only keep ending up with more questions and no answers).
Gotta go for now, will try and check back later.

G'day all! Still gathering things together to bring Brendan. He said that the trainer said his leg looked good and they are bandaging it for practice. He didn't have practice today (I think) because he had orientation.

Megan is half Kevin's age. In six more years, she'll be four-fifths Kevin's age. In 10 years, she'll be six-sevenths Kevin's age. Neither one is a teenager.
How old are Megan and Kevin now?
