Some people drift in and out without saying hello, good bye, or back in a mo.

I slept a little, maybe three hours. That is a vast improvement.

Sorry Stella, just catching up with easy! Yes, that is the button I was talking about. Whenever you refresh or post a comment, that sign goes red, just like a STOP sign. If you get to it quickly enough, you can stop a comment going through if you notice a mistake at the last mo.

Know what you're going through. Had insomnia for almost 2 years. It finally broke about a month ago.

Ruby, try not to go back to bed after breakfast this morning. It's terrible when your clock gets flipped upside down.

I read that you were topsy turvy with your sleeping times, Ruby. That must be a real drag.

Becky, you are still a night owl though. You seem to stay up very late.

Sometimes still. Last night, fell asleep before 11:30. Worked like a dog yesterday and still not done with that room.

Thanks again to all best wishes for D#2. I pumped her full of multi-vitamins and cold/flu tabs and forced her to drink copious amounts of water. She is on the mend for sure. She was able to go to work tonight, just a part-time job at a local pizza shop. She had 1 full day off and the next morning, was able to sleep in and go in later because she had a couple of 'frees'.

Our bedroom. Totally stripped it out and cleaned it from top to bottom. Didn't get the bed back in and made until 10 last night.

I imagine the number of lurking amoung the regular posters here has dropped since you can tell who posted last on the Forum page. When I see that it was me, I don't bother checking. Before, you had to actual check the page. The lurkers now are probably those checking to see if any interesting topics were discussed.

Becky, I'm working on my room as well. Got a "lingerie" dresser (tall and skinny) for my anniv on Monday (been wanting one for 10 years) and have been rearranging everything. Was inspired by you yesterday to give it a thorough cleaning. Not quite done yet.

Stella it seems no time since you were all complaining about the heat.
Stupid cat was complaining. She either cannot make up her mind if she wants to eat inside or out, or if she is not sure if her choice of food put out is not to her liking!

I'm back. Will try to work it out in a little bit. Brain still not in high gear, think it's still in between first and second.
How's D#2 doing after a week away?

June, how old is she? Our first dog got picky as he got older. The one we have now will eat almost anything.

Yes June, it was a very bizzare summer. A few days it would be in the upper 90's and then it would drop to the 60's. Last night we had all of the windows open and it went down to the 40's. Since I live in a forest. the sun won't heat up the house until this afternoon. I think it is supposed to get back up to 70. It still seems a little chilly for this time of year.

Not quite sure how D#2 is doing. It is hard to read her during our conversations. The biggest problem is that her internet is not working so her connection to the outside world and all of her friends has been severed. They are working on the line at school. They're not sure what the problem is.

D#2 has her first soccer game on Saturday. But it is an away game in Rhode Island so we won't be going. We may go down to New Jersey to see Brendan play since he has a home game on Saturday.
