I'm sure you guys across the ocean would have gotten this question with no problem. On the show "Are you Smarter than a Fifth Grader" they asked how many meters was two decameters and a hectometer. The adults didn't know and only two of the kids knew. That's because after all this time of saying we are converting to metric, it never happened. Even when I was a child I had to learn basic metric because conversion was imminent. I guess they aren't even bothering to teach it any more.

Nuffin's new. Everything is the same. Bit on the chilly side. Have the fire going again full-time. Usually run it flat out till the end of August then just light when it gets particularly cold. But I figured this is my workplace, I may as well be comfortable in it! Seem to get a lot more STUFF done.

Today it was only supposed to get into the low 70's, but it ended up in the mid 80's. So glad all the heavy work was done yesterday.

My first job was for an insurance company. I came out of a stall and one of the other ladies was standing at the sink with that problem. And yes, I did tell her.

You've been having hot weather? It has been hot here lately. Not sure of the temp but definitely shorts weather still.

It was down in the 40's last night, but during the day it's been getting pretty warm. I'm not going to complain. Would rather be a little hot than cold.

Hubby's been off this week and been busy every day. The only day we don't have anything going on is Sunday.

Would love to have a lake to swim in. The only thing around here is a reservoir. They have a small beach, but it's always crowded.
