Theresa, you should know that animals and babies like to be fed promptly. They will not tolerate any delay in their mealtime

Suzy... Funny Nomnom story, but awful YouTube. Sorry. The person doing the videotaping has obviously never done it before. They were darting around with the camera so much that the picture was a seasick blur and the audio was erratic and poor quality. It was a pity, because It sounded like it might have been a nice song.
Is "Alie" a new spelling? I thought that her page on this site was spelled "Ally".

I slept in again this morning. I'm not sure if it's the infection in my head or the antibiotics, but I didn't wake up until 1 pm.

Just got back from Fairport Convention Cropredy music festival. Had a wonderful time even though we got wet more times than I care to remember. Saw some great acts including Status Quo, Rick Wakeman and of course Fairport Convention.

I am having my parents over for dinner. I can't say it was an invitation, more like an order. I called them to invite them, they came up with excuses so I basically told them to be at my house at 4:00 or else. They haven't seen the boys in a few weeks and I don't like to let a lot of time go by with them not seeing their grandparents.

Hi everyone.
I can't stay,but wish you all a good day/evening.
I have kept up with reading, though I don't have much time to post.It takes me ages to type appropriate comments that can't be misconstrued.
Miss you all.

Improving thanks Heidi, just have to be careful what I eat, preservatives in food I seem to have an adverse reaction to. Still trying to work out what things make me react but I cook most of my own food now.
How is the tooth today?

Morning all!
Theresa, I laughed at your cat story because Nomnom is locked in another room and is complaining loudly - she tried to climb up to get to the birds, twice. She also tried to get me to feed her after hubby already had. I was worried for a minute with your story because I thought it was your other neighbour! Good deed done.
Welcome back Brenda! I'm glad you had a good time even though it rained. Good bands!
Hi Nola, hope you have been able to put a dent in the assignment! I know what you mean about typing things that can be misconstrued. I sometimes look at my postings and think oops! That's not what I meant!
Broni, avoiding preservatives takes all the junk food out of life - sigh... I'm glad you feel better though.
Heidi, glad the swelling is going down. I wonder if Cyn is feeling any better with her antibiotics.
Three cheers to Tami! I like your orders and your motivation.

I do think they're working now. There is nowhere as much as sinus pain and pressure.

Broni, glad you stopped in and glad to hear you are doing better.
Heidi, glad that the swelling is starting to go down. YES! I gave an order to my mom and dinner was good. London broil cooked on the grill, french fries, sweet potato, salad and fresh bread. Nothing fancy.

It's windy again today. I'm trying to work up the courage to go outside to feed the lawn mowers. It won't be pleasant!
I have both girls home today. Ebob has a cold and Ally's doc wants her off her foot until he can check the xrays. It has been much better - unless she bumps it on something - but there is a lot of walking and lots of stairs at school so I took his advice.
Heidi, I'm glad someone got to see the youtube! I thought it might be badly filmed. Ally has decided that her name is spelled Alie. I've told her that it makes no phonetic sense but she doesn't care.

Broni, I have an allergy to MSG, which seems to be in a lot of food at Chinese restaurants. There is one buffet restaurant in Ottawa (or I should say "was" because it is no longer there) that had a whole buffet section that was labelled as MSG-free. MSG tends to give me palpitations and acid reflux.
Just got up from a wee nap and I feel better (I think).
Suzy, no, it was not my daughter but another neighbour. I tend to forget my daughter is my neighbour because our house is a double and we have an access way upstairs, so I tend to think of it as one house.
Gotta go and make something to eat. As usual hubby is at his parents' for the day. Think I'll just have some soup because I feel too lazy to make anything else.
MizT, I try and vote twice a day. Earlier I noticed we are back up to 7th place.
TTFN.

Suzy, glad I was able to make you laugh. I changed the spelling of my mom's name. She used to spell it Bobbie but I made her switch to Bobbi since she spelled my name with an I. I tried to get her to go to Bobi but she did not like that.
Yeah, I know, always causing trouble.

Even potato and corn chips? Which reminds me, I saw a fancy looking grater on special and decided to buy it - it grates potatos as thin as thick chips! Perfect for potato bake, and one day hubby says he's going to try to make potato chips just to see if he can.

Finished my soup and realized that wasn't really what I wanted. What I want now is junk food, especially potato chips. I wonder why, Suzy!!!!! We tend not to keep chips or chocolate in the house because those are the two things I find it difficult not to eat and eat and eat. Sigh ......
