It just let me vote, from the same account, one hour after the last time I voted. Unfortunately, we're still at #7.

Heidi and June, I imagine I had not been waiting long enough between voting or something, but today I did just vote again. Thanks for letting me know that a few hours had to pass between votes. I will see how many times I can get there today.

Yep, we moved up so nicely for a few days and now stuck. OH well, we have all gave it a good try and I will continue trying all this month.

I need to go back to see if I missed anything on last page, but first to post this for fear of loosing it.

While here and before I try to get some sleep, I would like to thank you all for the Birthday Wishes for Laura. I did intend to go to your pages but it is just a bit much for me at the moment.

Thanks Tricia. Hugs really needed. Change of medication starting today as last lot has not worked. She did not fit the criteria for the new trial drug either. But we still have a LOT of fighting to do!

Just voted again, MizT. Other days it wouldn't let me vote again so soon. It doesn't seem to be the same from one day to the next.

Tell me I haven't made a mistake. I just let Robert drive my truck to town for gas for the lawnmower. I've never let him drive it before.

Heidi, you obviously trust him and he seems to like and respect you ... your truck should be fine!!!!

Nola, good luck on the course.

I had best get away from the computer for a while because I have a lot of swearing to do before hubby gets home. Don't want him to think I'm on the computer all day.

Robert has a history of auto accidents. Between his epilepsy and his affinity for freak accidents, he's probably averaged a couple of bad ones a year. But he's done less damage to my stuff than IH has done.

Hi all. Just stopping in for a minute. Have to take little beastie to baseball practice. It is raining right now but might not be at the field. Florida weather is strange. It can rain at one end of a block and not the other.

Morning all!
Happy Birthday to the apprentice for Friday! (Just in case I forget then). Boardshorts? If only... The new bed sounds like an excellent idea.

Julie, good luck on Wednesday - I hope you and your hubby are right about the surgery!! It sounds good from here... I actually called Ally Ailie for a couple of hours and she just said 'It's my name, I can spell it Alie if I want to'. Charming, isn't she?

Heidi, I hope you catch up on your sleep tonight.

Going over the page...

Heidi, glad both Robert and your truck came back safely. Perhaps you should mention to him that he should call you if doing more than stated when he leaves??

Theresa, we know you do more than stay all day on the computer, you are not here nearly enough for that!!

Nola, thank you for taking time from your very busy schedule to go vote. Good luck with your assignment and your online class. Education is surely different from when I went to school, what with online classes, not sure how I would feel about those.

I took the easy way out for dins tonight, Boxed ingredients for cheeseburger mac casserole. Hubby will like it I am sure and he still has cornbread.

I must go warm and exercise this hand again. The care and feeding of this hand takes a lot of my time, keeps me out of mischief at least.

June, I hope do you got some sleep. Thinking of you and your friend. Just remember, you have to take care of yourself too dear friend, as your friend is relying on you for help now. Perhaps you could ask your doctor for something to help you sleep for a while?

MizT, page 310 to 311... Hubby has recently worked out how to made a copy of hamburger helper without the boxed stuff he used to buy in the states. He is over the moon!! It's amazing how much a touch of home can be comforting.

John Howard is in town today. I'll have to make sure I'm home then. I've never seen an election this close and can't wait until it's over...

I'm off to get ready to take Ally to try to get her some crutches. She thinks she will need them if she is going to make it through the day at school.

It's official. No broken bones or dislocations. Ally will be happy because that means she 'can' do her Taekwondo grading on Saturday - yeah right, that's going to work well... She may need physio if it doesn't heal quickly.

Hi all,...Just for the record, My avatar is also a MizT creation, so I get to join the fin too...even though many days later...
I see many are voting for the dogs, I tried to post it on fb but of coursr I messed up and didn't get it done...I have however been able to vote....hope the idea is a winner...it is to us!
Tricia, last time I posted about the quilt tour...It will start touring the U.S after having been on display at Wilberforce Universary from 12/18/09 until 12/18/10.There are 95 fiber artist representing a variety of cultures, generations, and religions, and will feature at least 90 quilts. It is called Journey of Hope in America. The director seems to be a quilt artist named Dr. Carolyn L. Mazloni. I believe she is associated with Wilberforce, and perhaps you can find more information once the tour starts. There was no itinerary posted for the tour.Searching this information, led me to a quilt place where I purchased a quilt that featured The speech by President Obama given at his swearing in. The background is the Statue of Liberty...its pretty nice and I was very pleased to find it.
While I have enjoyed the couple of nice, rainy days between the excessive heat, I find that we are right back in the soup today, and it has tired me, so I'll let my other comments wait until next time...I have been dealing with headaches a great deal, and have one now...so I'll catch you later and hopefully report on my learning how to type backwards using MzT's tip.... Catch you later...peace, hugs and healing vibes for all.

HI MAMACITA, thanks for so much information about the quilt tour. It is unusual to take so many quilts on tour, I think the Gees Bend quilts might have toured about, but not many make tours. I must look up information about this tour, but later. It is time for meds and bedtime now.

I am not sure what it is about men and hamburger helper, but I am not surprised some of your husbands like it too! Suzy, Al could not have it for many years, till a few companies took the trans fats from the recipes. when I found trans fat free " helper" hubby was so very happy to have it back again. Glad your hubby found a way to make his without the box.

Suzy, glad to hear no broken bones, hope Ally is soon mended.

Heidi, another day alone, I am sure you can find something to entertain yourself. How is the mouth? Getting any better?

Must go and vote again myself, then off to bed. sorry I did not get to comment on all messages posted. Know I thought about you and wanted to say a LOT hehehe. Hand just said time for a rest and I am listennning,

Hugs to all and extras to June and her friend.

Howdy, Folks! I don't know where the day slips away to, but it's approaching 10:30 p.m. here!

Hi, Gail, June, MizTricia, Heidi, Theresa, Nola, Tami, Suzy, and Mamacita!

Gail, we're glad you're back home safely! Sounds like a great family reunion!

June, I'm glad you were able to go see a movie with a friend today! I suspect you could use some R & R!

MizT, I also have been able to vote more than once per day. As with Theresa, there needs to be a good time lapse between!

Heidi, I need to try to log out, then log in again at the Pepsi grant site. Nope, couldn't find a place to log out, so will try later. Just tried again, but it says I have no votes left. I guess when I voted for projects for the Gulf states, I must have used up my votes.

Theresa, I hope the swearing today went quickly and somewhat painlessly! I need to do some tomorrow! Still keeping my fingers crossed that the perfect job finds you soon! All the best to your D!

June, wishing all the best for your friend as the new meds are tried. So sorry Friend didn't qualify for the new trials. Perhaps another will become available if the new are less than satisfactory. Keeping fingers crossed, sending prayers and positive vibes and {{{{HUGS}}}} for both of you and extended family! In the meantime, I hope you are feeling better and are able to get a good sleep! Please take care of yourself!

Nola, I hope all is going well with your homework, online assignments, your coursework, your job, and your family! You certainly have a lot to juggle! Don't forget to take care of yourself!

Tami, I hope the baseball practice went well!

Suzy, just think, when Ally/Alie becomes famous, she already will have a unique way to spell her name and won't need to change it. Our acupuncturist plays piano and acoustic guitar, sings and composes. She's starting to put her stuff "out there" and play in a few clubs. When she started, she used her full name, but has decided to go by "Doc" followed by her first name. So in just a few months she has had to change information on several of the websites she uses.

So glad Ally/Alie doesn't have any fractures! I hope she is able to get through the school day today rather painlessly!

Thank you for the reminder about Hamburger Helper. It's been years since we used it, but hubby liked it. Maybe it's time to try it again?

Woo Hoo! Mamacita was able to visit! The quilt you bought sounds unique and nice! The touring quilt show should be a delight to see. Mamacita, I'm SO sorry to hear that you are having trouble with headaches! I hope you are able to find something that gives you relief! Are they migraines? D who has them has found a cooling patch that she can place on her forehead or neck and give her some relief. The name of it is
WellPatch Cooling Migraine Patch. I hope you will soon feel much better!

I see Rolanda snuck in a post while I was typing! Hi! So sorry your "'orrible cherubs" ganged up on you last night! Sounds like it might have taken everyone's minds off the condition of the patient! Sending positive vibes your way!

Suzy, I hope you don't mind if I borrow your list of those we are keeping close to our hearts and minds!
Warm thoughts, happy wishes, super-duper hugs and positive vibes to N TD W RM JD GH TP CG T TG CS H C T R RD J S SF and everyone else too!!

It's rapidly approaching midnight, and I have another early morning tomorrow. Hugs to all!
