Morning Tami, I am late for talking with you this morning.

Time for me to have my breakfast and get dressed, going to meet my sister and BIL before Al and I have an appointment today. Nice cafeteria run by a Greek family that has been in the restaurant for over 50 years, in the Birmingham area. We love their cooking, have frequented their different establishments over the years. I am certainly looking forward to it. I just wish I could do baked fish like they do it!!

Hugs and extras, and I do not think there is anyone who does not need a hug, so come get yours whether you think you need one or not.

I'm home! We've been off to a baseball presentation evening. Best food ever! Even better because it was free. The drinks weren't and we had to drive over an hour each way to get it, but yummo!!

On Friday morning early the girls and hubby will be heading off to Coffs - 3 days there plus whatever travel time. I will be home alone for the longest I have been since I got married! What will I do, what will I do?????

Hi everyone! Hope you are all well ... definitely weller than me! Just waiting till 9.00 to see if I can get a doctor's appointment today, or do I have to wait till Monday. Haven't felt this bad in years, and to make things worse I've broken out in rashes again. Aw, poor me!

My retired sister sent me this ... I got a chuckle out of it:

Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting.

Well, for example, the other day, Mary my wife and I went into town and visited a shop. We were only in there for about 5 minutes. When we came out, there was a cop writing out a parking ticket. We went up to him and I said, "Come on, man, how about giving a senior citizen a break?"

He ignored us and continued writing the ticket. I called him a dumb *ss. He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn-out tires. So Mary called him a sh*t head. He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing a third ticket. This went on for about 20 minutes. The more we abused him, the more tickets he wrote.

Just then our bus arrived, and we got on it and went home. We try to have a little fun each day now that we're retired. It's important at our age.
