If I am no longer Here. Would I be missed? What mark did I leave? What type of impression did I leave? Or does it really matter?

Judy, don't read this:
An elderly lady was standing at the railing of the cruise ship holding her hat tight so that it would not blow away in the wind.
A gentleman approached her and said, "Pardon me, madam..I do not intend to be forward but did you know that your dress is blowing up in this high wind?"
"Yes, I know," said the lady. "I need both my hands to hold onto this hat."
"But madam, you must know that you are not wearing any panties and your privates are exposed!" said the gentleman in earnest.
The woman looked down, then back up at the man
and replied, "Sir, anything you see down there is 75 years old. I just bought this hat yesterday!"

I am going to log off early and go to bed. Little beastie has a baseball game at 9:00 am and it is our turn to bring snack.

Suzy, yes, it's my birthday-eve. My daughter and SIL are getting Chinese takeout for supper tomorrow night for my birthday, and there will probably be cake. Daughter does not feel up to going to a restaurant, so the restaurant is coming to us.
I am going to do like Tami and make it an early night. My SIL has gone out for the evening, so hopefully my daughter or grandies won't be calling. I am sooooo tired - must be because I'm almost a year older.

Sounds perfect Theresa!
I'm tired too. The dinner last night didn't finish until 10.40 and then we had over an hour drive to get home. I won't have the 'another year older excuse' because I'm not having anymore birthdays - well, I'll have the parties, but I'm staying the same age from now on.

I'm missing out on seeing Susan tonight - she's down from NQ but our family is going out for Karin's birthday, which isn't until Tues, but she and her fam are off on hols tomorrow so it has to be tonight. Susan was going to ring Vicki, Broni and Kerrie (k) - so hopefully they can make it. That's twice I've missed seeing her now, darnit!

Can't Equa/Suzy - that would be 2 weeks away and her boys (hubby and son) only got back Thurs from a scout camp - it's tonight or never.
Susan comes down every school break - so she'll be down again, prob after Xmas - must tell her NOT to make it the weekend of the 15/16th Jan - that one is booked up already with 10th birthday party for Maddie, my birthday and son's 40th (oh, and my bro's 40th anniversary - I had the bad manners to go into labour at his wedding) - no way is there any room to move that weekend!

I should have said - I went into labour at my brother's wedding late on the 16th Jan 1971, my son made me wait in pain until the 18th before he decided to enter the world!! Don't worry I wasn't screaming for 48 hours, labour came and went until the last 10 hours where it progresed into a screaming match bewteen me, myself and I!!

Suzy, maybe buy some ear plugs??? A friend posted something on FB about may God have one hand around your shoulder and the other covering your mouth, and I thought of you and your situation. As the saying goes, if life is a bowl of cherries, why am I in the pits?
Having trouble sleeping. I go through this every once in a while. I've been up since before 4:00 AM so I guess a nap will be in order later. Maybe I can convince hubby to get the groceries for me today since it's my birthday. I'm going to play this card for all it's worth.
Off to feed the kitties. They think if I'm up it must be breakfast time. TTFN and thanks for the birthday wishes.

Hi everyone.
Get well thoughts to those who need them.
Hope you find some sleep Theresa.
I have pulled out of the play I was going to be in.
The Avon is just growing and growing and I cannot fit everything in, so something had to go.
The constant jibes from hubby re using the car so much, the petrol, blah blah blah just topped it off so I pulled the plug on it.

Oh Viv, sorry to hear about that. Our "significant" others can be so annoying at times. It sounded like you would have had fun in the play.
My hubby was on holidays last week and if this is what retirement is going to be like, I'm going to insist he work until he's 80.
