Good morning all. Glad to hear good things for a change.
Julie, you will be missed. Please stop in when you can.
Victoria, I understand how you feel. You do need time together and I am glad you have plans for Saturday.
I have Theresa's number and will call her occasionally. She has informed me she will be busy and it may be hard to get her. At least I can keep us all informed that she is ok.
Coffee is brewing and should be ready soon.

Dana told me tonight that a guy she met when she went to Soundwave on her birthday weekend told her today he has bowel and stomach cancer. Via text. She doesn't know what to think or do. He's 18.
The cynic and optimist? in me hopes he is bullsh1tting her...

Suzy,I think it is a strange place for 18 year old to have that. (I could be wrong). She could text back that 'she is sorry to hear that. When will he start Chemo and will he loose his hair?' Giving sympathy if it is true but making him think twice if it is not so.
I think you should be in bed with a hot lemon drink and honey(with a touch of the hard stuff in it). Get rid of that cold!!

Suzy, hope you feel better. I agree that Dana should be concerned about that young man. I don't think stomach cancer is common in young people.

Morning all. Hubby will call to disconnect the internet today. Just about to head over to get the grandies up and ready. I've already been over there once around 6:15 AM. I hope to be able to get back here later. Have a great day/evening everyone!

My sister sent me this:

Male Sensitivity

The room was full of pregnant women with their partners. The class was in full swing. The instructor was teaching the women how to breathe and was telling the men how to give the necessary assurance to their partners at this stage of the pregnancy..

She said "Ladies, remember that exercise is good for you. Walking is especially beneficial.. It strengthens the pelvic muscles and will make
delivery that much easier. Just take several stops and stay on a soft surface like grass or a path."

She looked at the men in the room, "and Gentlemen, remember -- You're in this together -- It wouldn't hurt you to go walking with her."

The room suddenly got very quiet as the men absorbed this information.

Then a man at the back of the room slowly raised his hand.

"Yes", answered the Instructor.

"I was just wondering if it would be all right if she carries a golf bag while we walk?"

---- This kind of sensitivity just can't be taught..

Still here, but we're going to lose internet service at some point this afternoon. Hubby had a talk with the service provider and they are suspending us for 6 months. That way we do not have to return the modem and we don't have to pay to get reconnected. We just need to call them and give them a few days notice that we want to have it back again. So TTFN and as I said, I WILL BE BACK. Hugs to all.

That sounds like a workable solution, Theresa. I'll really miss having you here to talk to. Frequently, you're the only other topsider around during the day. I may go nuts talking to myself here!
I just put Robert to work fixing a large gap under a fence caused by erosion. It's gotten so big this winter that a cow can walk under it without scrunching down. We're fixing it right... with wooden posts set in concrete and heavy gauge cattle panels filling in the gap and stapled to the posts with 2" long staples. We'll be turning the cow/calf pairs into that pasture later this week.

We are changing providers soon - not much extra allowance, but facebook, email and a couple of other things are free unlimited! I will be able to play games again! You watch, I'll get a job at the same time and still not be able to play them...

I'm back with some milk replacer for the dogie. I'll try tube feeding, or bottle feeding again in about an hour. I'd rather he drink from a bottle, because I hate the wrestling involved in tube feeding.

I'm gonna be by myself tomorrow. IH is at the plant, and Robert has a Doctor's appointment in the morning and a court date in the afternoon. He had been pulled over for speeding on his motorcycle, and didn't have the registration slip with him. The guy he was buying it from refused to give him a copy of the registration. So he has to go to court over it. But the jerk still won't give him a copy of it. So it should be interesting tomorrow.

Hi everybody, today was Al's long day, so mine too. Not good for the qachies. I tried something new today, I tried comming home while he was getting treatment, Double the driving canceled the less time in the waiting room! I had to wait to make sure they would do chemo, his iron was down again, if it is too low, they skip chemo and I could have to turn around as soon as I got home, so there was some wait. then I had to wait when I got back, cause he had a drip still going. Have not found anyone to take him his long day, I have volunteers for other days, but not Mondays. Only 2 more long days this round, this too shall pass. Twelve more radiation treatments. Less all cross fingers that nothing keeps him from getting these last 12 in a row, no more breaks. I am so ready for this to be over and see what results are.

Winter came back. yesterday forecast was for 60 degrees, never got out of the low 40's, they really missed that one, a cold cold day for spring.

tomorrow Al's brother is coming over, He will take Al tomorrow. I need to get something thawed to cook tomorrow, not enough leftovers for 2.

I need to get appointment with doc, see if he can shoot my hips. Lets fix at least one of the problems, please?

Heidi, what time you usually get on puter day time? I will try to come chat with you. I need a break.

Hi all. Hubby had to go into work today (should have heard the grumbling!), the motor on one of the machines packed up yesterday so it could have meant many hours and many $. Luckily he is home already, he was able to pull it apart, find the problem and kludge it, so hopefully all will be well for a little while longer...

I usually hop on here about 10:30 - 11 am most days. Then on and off throughout the day. I take frequent breaks throughout the day because of my back.
