Good morning all! Hope everyone is well! Been very busy here trying to get the cars fixed, getting groceries and Max had a soccer tournament all day yesterday and a game today. Still trying to get over my cold as well. Raining here as well, so yard work is out. (Not that I was planning on doing that, but hubby was.) Have a great day everyone!

So far it looks like a rain-free day here. But it is cold, the coldest I've seen so far this year. I think the winds must be coming off the mountains.. (BTW - cold = 12C, 53F)

Stella - the signs of a true soccer Mum in Oz are the heavy coat and scarf... It gets cold watching those games!

I've just been reading about the Austrian woman who claims to have been held in a cellar for 24 years. The Australian version of the story says the mother didn't know anything about it, yet in the US version she was raising 3 of her daughter's children! If true, this story is horrifying! And the only reason I doubt it's truth is that it is so horrible that I can only hope that it is a hoax...

Hi all nice coffee MizT glad you all liked movie Suzy Im off to craft today usual craft granny squares Vic will pick me up from craft & we are off to the movies to see Old mistress a french movie set in early 1900s Vic saw it at the film festival last year & knew i would like it so hes going to see it again unusual for him

Nim's Island was a fun movie. I'll have to google where it was made as although the writers were definitely American (no Aussie boy would run crying 'mother'), there were several Australian actors. I'm pretty sure we saw the helicopter pilot in The Lion King.

I don't watch Play School (anymore) or Water Rats so haven't seen him in those. The 'driver' of the boat looked familiar too. I'll have to do some googling and look at credits to track him down.

Suzy only see play school when grandkids are around they have DVD of playschool & hes in it

It will be a while until I have grandkids around Mary (I hope!!! d1 is only 15!!) so I am free from Play School for now. I still get to see bits of many other cartoons though...
