Rolanda, I do think Suzy's pants will have to wait till you return, don't you? A lot going on in your household. Will you be packing shorts and Capris to hem while camping? I have a quilting friend who takes her sewing machine with her and sews on a picnic table. She has met some interesting people who stop to see just what she is doing. ENJOY your weekend and hope the friend's daughter does a super job in the show.
HI JUNE, have a good day being umpire.
HEIDI, our rain missed us by just ( ) far. It did cool down a bit with rain that close.
I have flung food, cannot get hubby to take notice. He is on phone with his brother and he knows food will wait. I give him another 10 minutes and I shall eat, I am hungry. Crab au gratin tonight.

Probably not Tricia.. Busy weekend planned I believe!! Busy being social, sightseeing, eating etc.
No time for doing hems on the machine, or threading the Elastic through the waistband. Purely R & R !!
We will be travelling down in convoy with the Friends. Their other child, is our Godson.

Good morning friends!
Brenda and June, the family tree is fascinating, and I'm spending WAY to much time on it! The Internet makes it so easy, though you have to be careful what sites you use - some are not terribly reliable, to say the least! June, I have a branch of the family that comes from Cornwall - Cornish FH sites are wonderful!
Heidi, there's always a sleaze somewhere in the tree!
Aimee, kids just don't think sometimes!
My son was supposed to come over last night (he's just had a birthday), but rang to say he wasn't well - sounded pretty terrible, said he might go to the doctor in a couple of days, if he found time. Rob rang him back straight away and said "Find time NOW!" It may not be swine flu (what a terrible name!), but who wants to take chances? Plus how many people can he spread it to, before he decides it's serious?

I wish Fionafest would be that soon. I had forgotten how much I adore the ocean.... haven't been there since 1982, I believe. I've got all my stuff ready, except my scuba mask. They're making it now for me. It has prescription lenses. This way I can snorkel for shells.

Hey Cous, he seems to be getting into it, bit conservative I think, but it is his project and he needs to get it done, so I can understand why he has taken this approach.

Heidi, I had no idea you could get prescription lenses in a scuba mask! Now I'm interested - how does that work? I mean, both my eyes are completely different, and my old diving mask was just a single piece of glass ... just curious. :)
