Our house is looking pretty big now - five bedrooms, and just the two of us. Maybe we should take in boarders! ;)

Just flying by this evening.
Finally had Meghan's birthday dinner at Red Robin. This was the last day she could use her birthday coupon there. Then raced off to Ian's soccer practice. Meghan wouldn't go to the doctor, but we'll see tomorrow.

Aimee, another thought... I was at a sports banquet with my son and it ran late. We had to leave to be somewhere, but to do so would have created a disruption since we were at the front. I didn't want to be rude, but it was killing me to stay there. I couldn't use my cell phone and I didn't have text. We just had to wait until it was over. Another time my daughter was working at the local summer concert venue. She was supposed to be done with work at midnight. I ended up waiting an hour and a half. There was no cell phone service for some reason and since it was her first summer working there, we didn't realize that the Greatful Dead concert would be so packed that it would be impossible to finish on time and impossible to get out of there when she finally finished. I think we finally got home at 2:30.

Cous. the boy has a couple of 'postgrade job' interviews next week, one is a all day affair, and the other he is through to the next round after a phone interview he did a few weeks back. Both are for ' Systems Engineer' position!

Judy, I'll send you the almost 20 year old, to board with you.. to remind you just how noisy a young adult is in the house !!

Judy... in this case, the mask has 2 lenses. They're shaped like large goggles. My eyes are both different, too. The mask even came in a choice of 14 colors!

yes, fingers cross, I am sure he will do fine.. he is quite capable, excels at everything, and strives for perfection !!

Speak to Miss Vici regularly ... we wont be hearing from her until the she has Bingo Babes out of the way on Saturday night...it is at her place and she is busy trying to finish off and fill some of the trenches so that the babes don't fall in and break a leg....
It is a VERY big job and it is going well even if somewhat slowly...she has very rocky soil...
And now I am out of here of Kate will be reprimanding me for my tardiness...

I can't believe Vici set a deadline like that, with her bad back. She may be exhausted for days afterwards.

Your diving mask sounds very high-tech! I was thinking I hadn't dived since I was at uni, then I remembered we took the girls on a "swim with the dolphins" trip a few years ago. The wetsuit was quite a few sizes bigger, but once I was in the water it all seemed very familiar. And it was fun!

This will be the first time ever that I will be able to see clearly underwater. All the scuba diving and skin diving I did when I was younger was all fuzzy. I kept wishing I could get a mask with prescription lenses, but they didn't make them then. Once I get this, I plan on going to the ocean yearly.

Fantastic Heidi! Hope you get plenty of chances to dive. By the way, does IH like diving too?

He swims a bit. He's never been a diver like I have. It would scare him too much. He'd rather waterski on a lake where there are no sharks.

Hehe Heidi, I can just see you emerging from the lake with a shark fin attached.

Rob used to dive a lot, so I had lessons too. We went on some really good dives, but ultimately I failed my test (in spectacular fashion!) Then we got jobs, then we had kids - that was the end of our diving! But fun times were definitely had! :D

Rolanda, that is what we are planning to do with the kids too! When the youngest has finished school, we will sell this seven bedroom house and get one with JUST enough room for hubby and me!
