Sorry eaa - my light might have been on but nobody was at home. I was off playing games.
I stupidly put a widget game on my page and, take my warning, don't play it - it will blind you. I'll probably take it off soon before hubby and I go blind.

Lot of noise but little rain. Seems to have gone now. I was going to watch the full moon rise but too much cloud.

I meant to watch the full moon last night and tonight but forgot both times. I saw it in December. It won't be as spectacular now as it would have been earlier in the evening.

GREETINGS TO SUDOKULAND! Maen even!

I think I might live this morning, was not so sure last evening. We had a cold front come through, and sometimes those can make me hurt a LOT, last night was one of those nights. 'Twas bad enough Al had to come help me make dinner, I had taken a strong pain pill and I am not to be trusted around hot things or sharp things after one of those. Dozed through TV after dinner, took a second pain pill and went to bed. I am not to happy to hear, we have several more cold fronts coming through in the next week, a big blast of arctic air, coming in waves. I do not want a repeat of last night, please and thank you.

At least no rain for today! Must feed the machine again, at least I am up early to get a good start on that today. forecast is for SUN, although it is also for COLD. Yesterday's high was 67, the day before was 72. today we will be lucky to have a high of 44, that is a big difference. BUT we have sun!

I am off to make coffee and find warm clothes for today. Check back later once the other topsiders come around.

Good morning all! I haven't had time to catch up this morning. I have been texting Meghan who is at the airport in Atlanta, Georgia. She left from Florida at 6am. I wanted to make sure she knew we got a lot of snow last night and was prepared for it when she landed in Boston. She is flying directly back to school. She didn't bring all of her winter clothes with her(they charge to check bags and she didn't want to have to lug it around Florida). Brendan will bring her stuff to her next weekend when he goes to visit. It certainly looks like a winter wonderland outside!

MizT, hope you warm up and feel better! We're supposed to be getting an arctic blast as well.

Broni, we also had Chinese last night. First time in a long time. Hubby was out all day at a state exam (8 hours) and he felt like Chinese when he got home.

BEAN, you are welcome, and the secret is, I am persistent! I just keep trying new combinations of words till something clicks hehehe.

Load #2 is ready to hang. The sun was short lived, only at sunrise, it is cloudy now. I think I will hang this load inside, maybe put the jeans out, but shirts and such can go on hangers and in the bathroom. the first load which was undies again went into the dryer. WOW, I have used it twice this month already, but I only use it in the rainy season.

Heidi, I am much better this morning thank you. I have on a really warm polar fleece shirt, and shoulders and chest are no longer complaining so much. I can tell they are tired, when I have to lift or move things, but other than that I feel a lot better!

Good morning all. I have a bunch of ffuts to do today. Have to load that sqaurish thing that gets clothes wet and soapy. Then to put the wet stuff in the machine that gets hot. I don't use the hot, slidy thing. I hang everything when damp. I also have a big stack of papers to grade. End of semester is Thursday and all grades have to be entered by Friday. This will be a fun week as my school laptop crashed and I will have to borrow one or use the ones in the school library.

I will be back later. Have to go buy hubby some munchies for the football game. NY Giants vs Philadelphia Eagles. Since my Dolphins lost last week, I guess I will root for the Giants.

Just your normal Australia/American wedding!!???
I saw this online and had to share hehehe

NORMAL, Ill. (AP) - Wedding bells meant Taco Bell for Paul and Caragh Brooks.

Customers inside the fast-food restaurant continued to order tacos and burritos as the couple sat Friday in an orange booth at Taco Bell and exchanged vows.

"It's appropriate," groom Paul Brooks said. "It's an offbeat relationship."

Employees displayed hot sauce packets labeled with the words "Will you marry me?" They decorated the restaurant with streamers and balloons.

The bride wore a $15 hot pink dress and the entire wedding cost about $200. Several dozen guests looked on as the couple's friend, Ryan Green of Normal, administered the vows while wearing a T-shirt. He was ordained online.

"This is the way to go - there's no stress," said the groom's mother, Kathy Brooks.

Caragh Brooks, 21, of Australia, met Paul Brooks, 30, on an Internet dating Web site. They already had the same last name.

The couple wrote back and forth and talked on the phone for nine months before Caragh Brooks moved to the United States.

"We have the same brain, just in two bodies," Paul Brooks said. "We think alike in virtually every manner. We have the same interests, viewpoints."

He proposed on New Year's Eve and, because they like to spend time at the local Taco Bell, they decided to wed there.

"I would never have expected in my life in working here there would be a wedding," restaurant manager Carl Hamlow said.

I'm back. I don't have to watch football (american version) today. My SIL and niece called and invited me to go see "Bride Wars" with them. They thought I might enjoy some girl time. I will be leaving the beastie boys at home with dad. My ffuts can wait til later.

I'm finally up and still need to get dressed and have brekkie.

MizT... tho' I am further north than you, fronts tend to stretch so we get hit with the same frontal systems at roughly the same time. It's looking uncomfy for a few days, especially that Arctic stuff arriving in a day or 2. Glad you're feeling a bit better.
