true suzy, but i am a much happier person with him here. i have been so busy with kids sports. when you have three kids in tennis, 1 in piano, 1 in basketball, 1 in track, add on choir, scouts, church stuff, homework, ffuts, food flinging etc, i don't have tons of free time. of course some days are better than others. and sometimes i give up on the futts and take a break. that frees up my day a bit.

Suzy - great story!...only Heidi would have a smilie for that one! btw - I think she told us her spider was a Brown Recluse - but I can't be sure.
Morning mariana! Here's a creepy story. I had a friend who was scrubbing his shower out in Pacific Grove (a VERY damp and moldy town)...the ceiling above him (that he was scrubbing) broke open and a big black widow family descended upon him! He was mostly bit by babies, so (unlike a baby rattle snake bite) he only had itchy bumps.
- but nightmares for quite a while!

i got my shopping done today, and will be doing a bit of ffuts, then i have some things to attend to concerning "the house." pick up kid from 3 different schools at three different times. then drop off for basketball prac., get dinner ready, take 3 kids off to tennis and wait for and hour and a half, come home fling food, do homework, and get kids ready for bed. then i have to go to a practice for a musical number a group of us are doing for church. tomorrow will be even worse. i will have zero free time. wed. is looking pretty low key and thursday is even better.

VICI!!!!! what a nightmare!
suzy, the good thing about all the sports is that they usually have their seasons, so we get a break every once in a while. thank goodness! they can be very consuming while in full swing- for the kids as well as for the parents!

This year my girls will be in the same school again! First time in 3 years!!! I am sooooo looking forward to it...

Today I will be altering and mending school uniforms. I did look at that website BTW. Ebob often wears something similar under her school shirt - even on 100F days! - because the school shirt becomes see through if it gets wet. That means on rainy days and very hot days when she is hit by a water bomb. (Interestingly the school thinks that isn't a problem because there is a rule against it - there's a rule so it doesn't happen?????)

I STILL have that Aunty Jack song running through my head. I need revenge. And coming to your house and ripping your bloody arms off just isn't enough revenge. TWO days of that, now!!!!

Heidi - thanks for posting all your spiders so I can get a good look at them side-by-side. I have seen many black widows around (outside in the wood piles and such) and daddy long legs and generic house spiders...but now brown recluses, thank goodness. That Wolf spider looks kind of like a Tarantula, but not so hairy.
I think Suzy's spider is smiling at me...or is it smiling at mariana! EEEEEEEEKKKK!

I just got bad news. The airline won't reschedule. The Finches will be flying in to Louisville tomorrow night. I'll have to drive up there to get them at 9:30 pm during a storm. Freezing rain and ice. Very scary. When we first scheduled this, the forecast was for nice, mild weather.

OMG Heidi - where did you find those???? Bad news about the finches..

I listened to the Oak Ridge Boys and decided there is one thing missing - the link to my youngun days!! Didn't stick the way Russell Morris did... There's something about being a sentimental idiot that makes songs I heard a million times before sound good...

Every year, for the past 17 years, I've gone to a live concert by the Oak Ridge Boys. Plus I remember watching them on the Ed Sullivan Show as a kid. Their hair has gotten whiter, but they still look and sound great.

Heidi, Aunty Jack said 'She would be back' now you know what she meant.
Vici I'm not afraid of the beastie boys. I was a girl in the middle of older twin boys and two younger boys so learnt to fight, wrestle, curse, spit, chuck a rock, kick a football ect.
