Brenda - the news school year is just starting here. Tomorrow for NSW, next week for Victoria, not sure about the rest of the country...

Had a lovely day yesterday..

spent the day with friends, at an all day breakfast.. started 8.30am finished around 9.45pm.. ( Bought enough supplies of food and drink to last the day).
We could see the 3 lots fireworks from where we were (in the foothills)~ Perth, Fremantle and a Suburbian ( had to move around to see these thru the trees) Fireworks.
Yes they were in the far distance and the size of a pin head, but hey we could still see them!!

I love fireworks Rolanda! Even pin heads in the distance.... That's a looooooong breakfast...

The kiddywinks go back to school next week here in the West.

CynB, I am with you on cockroaches. We have some big ones hear and I can't stand the sight of them. On the rare occasion I see one at school, I get one of the boys to get rid of it before the girls see it. I don't scream, but they will.

Suzy, apparently Vic has bunched all their pupil free days together this week and will not have any more for the rest of the year.
Rolanda, you were lucky. The only people I Emailed my 'live' spider to were Heidi and Suzy.

I am not scared of bugs, I just don't like them. I got bit by a caterpillar when I was 5 and had a bad reaction to it. I also got bit by a spider once, and had a reaction to that bite. I tend to stay away from bugs for that reason.

No! I will not let them be harmed.

I find that talking to myself is the only way to get an intellegent answer.
