I wonder if the reason Brenda's council gets rid of rats is because of the Black Plague.
Belinda had a lots of bush rats in her feed shed a few weeks ago. They are nuisance value and do not carry disease. She put down baits and locked the cats inside for about a week. Managed to get rid of well over 10 rats.

A hairy caterpillar.

eaa, I don't remember if it was hairy. It bit me near my wrist and the bite mark travelled up my arm. My mom took me to the doctor who gave me medicine. I went to the bathroom and when she thought I was in there too long she came to check on me. I had fallen asleep on the floor.

It is a perfect comment for TOPP. You kept eaa from getting it. She was getting too close to me.

I react to those hairy caterpillers.I itch for days where they tough me.

Here hairy cayerpillar throw their hair if tormented or get squeezed and you break out in a rash.

June, that live spider was creepy!! Ebob won't play with it, but Ally has been playing with it on and off all day....

They sound like nasty little buggers. I will heed your warnings if I ever come across a hairy caterpillar.

They get me when I'm pulling weeds from under plants - they always seem to be able to find bare skin!! (The hairy caterpillars I mean)

I have never heard of a caterpillar physically bitting anyone.

Good night all. I am going to tuck myself in and watch some tv. I get up early in the morning. Mitchell has to catch his school bus at 5:30 am. Mommy has to make sure he wakes up and gets him there on time.

I don't think they bite me eaa, but where they come in contact with my skin it really stings! I've never bothered to check why... maybe I should!!

Suzy, Tami said she was bitten by a caterpillar. I know their throw their hair 'cause as a girl a boy dropped one down my blouse,what a mess.

I suppose that is their only protection.

The weather forecast for tomorrow has improved. 100% chance of cold rain, but it'll be around 35 F (~2 C) while I'm driving to and from the airport. It should be colder around Louisville, but the roads will be salted there.

I'm hoping my new hats arrive tomorrow. If I do have problems driving there, I want my head to be warm.

I don't get as sleepy, but I'll be nervous about the road conditions, so adrenalin will keep me awake. Under ideal conditions, it takes an hour to get there. No idea about tomorrow. At least, in 24 hours, I'll be on my way home with them.

The White Page Of Doom strikes again!!!

I have been watching the tennis. Much cooler day here. Rained overnight and still showery this morning so bowls was called off.
Hope the trip to get the finches is uneventful. Drive carefully.

Dear friends who I have invited to a small luncheon gathering in honour of Mary/Manly's visit, if I said Sunday I am very sorry.

The day and date for the lunch is SATURDAY 31st Jan!

Geez!!! Gail, and here I was I set to come on the Sunday!!

just remembered, never received the invite in the first place.

Drats! Stuffed it up again! What a ditz I am.

Come over for dinner tonight. I have defrosted enough for the tribe but have just been infoemed that the tribe wont be here for dinner...nice of them to let me know...AT THE LAST MINUTE!

On the menu - Gail's Lamb Racks, boiled chat potatoes and steamed veg fresh from the garden!

That sounds nice Gail but we have now eaten.
Crumbed steak with cheese in the centre, mashed potato/kumura, broccoli and sweet corn. Followed by stewed rhubarb, cream and ice cream.

Ken is starting to feel a bit better. Still coughing but not as bad. Leg still sore but also has improved. He still spent much of the day lying on the bed and sleeping but has eaten a good meal tonight and is now watching TV. He has lost about 3 kilo. We are now waiting for the Doctor to ring with the results of more blood tests taken last Friday.

Sory I will not be in Melbourne this weekend Gail. Sharon will be on a scout camp and I will have Laura for the weekend. Hope it will not be to hot!

Every one must be asleep (Topsiders), eating or TV watching. This place either goes mad or goes into a restful state.
