Okay, you've gone and I'm talking to myself - how appropriate!
Now I MUST go and forage, or Rob will give me a stern look when he finds there's no dinner ...
Goodbye friends, catch you later! :)

Done a touch of babysit this afternoon.

Looked after Miss Almost One while she was sleeping, Mrs Next Door had to go and pick up Miss Almost Four.
Then had a cup of tea and a chin wag with Mrs Next Door and Miss Almost Four when they returned. And a cuddle with Miss Almost One when she woke up.

I'm back and you've all given me about a dozen belly laughs with the posts made while I was away - your pm included Cyn!

Some of the ant stories are hilarious... actually, all of them are.

I love that Dalek clock! I think I want one, though a Weasley clock might be fun too.

I am a terrible mother!! I just handed the phone to ebob and asked her to call a friend of mine who sent a birthday present for her home with me. Do you know what ebob said? WHAT DO I SAY? My daughter doesn't know how to say thank you for a gift!!!! Though if my friend had seen how pleased she was when she opened it, that might have been thanks enough.... almost.

Sending cuddles Broni! Unless the boarder is willing to provide them and then I'll leave him to it since his will feel much better than cyber cuddles...

Sorry about work.

After having some trouble yesterday, the site is working really well for me today...

Mufty day at school tomorrow to raise funds for Victoria. Last week they had this thing where they laid gold coins end to end - they collected a mile of them! (though I wonder why a school newsletter said mile instead of 1.6km). They've also collected stationary.

Plain clothes Broni, instead of uniforms. A lot of schools these days let kids have a free dress day for a gold coin for charity - good idea!

It makes my heart swell to know that kids all over Australia, and I am sure all over the world, feel affected enough about this huge tragedy to want to do something about it.
Proud 'Mum' here to all the kids in the world!

Had homemade pizzas tonight for dinner. Was supposed to be grilled fish or something of the kind, but neither of us really felt like fish and finances don't stretch that far this month. After the last couple of months of large expenditures, we are finding it a little tight at this end of the month, especially since we only get paid once a month.

Might head off early tonight. It's been a big couple of weeks and I am feeling a little drained. We are hoping to 'finish' painting the room tomorrow (if we stay on the mountain, depending on the outcome). Two coats of the final colour, quick drying so we can easily get two coats done.
200 schools in high fire risk areas have been closed for the day tomorrow, so D#3 will be home as well.
Night everyone.

Not here, shutting down the computer...

Gail, I've been thinking about it and I think I would like my ds home on the kind of day forecast for tomorrow. I'd want to know where they were and that they were okay. That even knowing that nothing is happening, only could happen...
