Can you imagine it?
I used to walk down to Glenferrie Rd to do the shopping but there is no way I would drive down it during the last week of school for the yr12leavers.
I remember playing around with a few flour bombs and water bombs when I was in year 12 but the only things we defaced was ourselves....
I do expect most of these mums will think that their child is incapable of such acts. They are complaining about the whole year being punished...well the whole year KNOWS who is responsible and if they aren't prepared to put up then they can just shut up and suffer the consequences brought down on them by the minority. Haven't they heard of peer group pressure?

Do you mean the Niel Mitchel bit
Yes just listened to it,
something really needs to be done
as I think it could be very scary indeed for an aged person that may be walking down the street to have a hundred or so come running in their direction.

The police are talking criminal charges in which case not telling in itself becomes a criminal offence (at least I'd like to think so)

How about that poor women in her car with her baby?
I would've freaked out!!
Did anyone watch 4 Corners last night? Very, VERY interesting....I wonder if the government will ever be able to bring about some changes to our exhausted dying river system...the figures were rather frightening. I liked the 'brilliant' planning that went into building a dam and then over allocating its maximum capacity ...that is if it ever got to fill up ...which it hasn't - but that hasn't stopped everyone downstream fighting for their 'rightful' allocation....
Meanwhile stands of 400 year old redgum are dying due more to mismanagement of resources than anything. The Coorong is dying and almost past salvation not to mention all the wetlands in the Murray Darling basin... All anybody seems to want to do is take, take, take....
BTW 4Corners is repeated tonight..at 11pm I think

Hi everyone.
Busy girl here.
Now must cook spaghetti bolognese for tea.
Take up the hems on the 2 new polo tops Ethan got for his job at the fish shop.
Too long he says. Needs them by Thursday night.
After tea hope to log on my Avon orders.
$612 and counting !! Not a bad effort for starting up again.

Also have been printing up some notices for my gf Helen who lost her partner last Nov.
Nearly a year, hard to believe.
He worked at the Westport Bowling Club here and they are going to do a bowls arvo in his memory with all proceeds going to the Cardiac Unit at the Hospital.
So I got some collection tins for her and I have printed a pic of Andy and will stick them on the tins. Also printed A4 notices to go with them about the fundraiser.
She works at a take away shop so she said I will shout your lunch tomorrow when I take the items down to her and a few more free coffees on other days.
Nice way to get paid.

Hi Julie.
I will forgive you this time.
Better keep my eye on this bolognese I am cooking or I will do my famous trick of burning it to the bottom of the pan.

Laughing here.
It's cook your own dinner night tonight - the kid's favourite night. They managed to fill the kitchen with so much smoke that they set off the smoke alarm! I rushed out to see the 'fire', only to see one sitting down to a plate of food while the other was vainly trying to deactivate the alarm!

Suzy, the only reason I call my son's girlfriend, my pseudo DIL is because that is the way I feel about her. They have been together so long that it almost feels like they are married...and they are just a little too old to have the boyfriend/girlfriend moniker any more!

I wonder what do you call your friend of the opposite sex when you're too old to call them boy/girl friend? (And haven't been together for eons) Hmmmm. I'll have to ask my single friend.
Saw her today. She's on stress leave from work - and boy does she seem stressed! No faking there!
