And that coffee sounds great MizT. Got any choccy biccies to go with it? I'm expecting a Mum's taxi call, possibly more than one, during the night.
June - my June? post last page was just to ask where you'd got to.

Susan, no biccies here, but I could whip up one of those chocolate mug cakes, that sounds easy enough!
Well, hubby has some fig newtons if he did not eat them all last night, I saw him with the package hehe. He found some low fat ones at the grocery.

June, what are savory biccies? Is that what I might call a flavored cracker? Like cheese crackers or spicy chicken flavored cracker?

June, just read that you've caught cold. I buy cough syrup that has guaifenesin in it. It thins out the mucus (hate that word) in your nose and throat. Hubby takes it when he has a cold so that he can sleep.

Morning Becky, how is your part of the workd this morning? We have FOG and cooler temps this morning, It looks as if it has been raining, so much moisture collecting on the roofs and dripping down.

BECKY, my great cold remedy is Zycam cold preventative. VERY first early sign of a cold, use this, and for me, usually use it just once, prevents the cold from getting started. It seems to work for me, have not had one in about 5 or 6 years now! AND once I had several each year! Best knock on wood or something, do not want to jinx my good record!

Last year was the first cold for me in over 15 years. Knocked me on my butt. Went to bed feeling fine, woke up and was a mess.
Was wondering, have you tried the raspberry newtons? I found them at Aldi a while back and could hardly stay away from them. Kept on hearing them calling my name.

We are currently at 50 F ( 10 C) after a low about 48, and headed up to 70F ( 21 C) . our rain was night before last and yesterday morning. I had to be out and about for errands yesterday and hubby drove me, since he needed a couple things from town also. Nice to have a driver on a rainy day!

Crackers would cover rice crackers etc Tricia.
When stressed I used to get hives and have had a few lately and took some antihistimime today (not one for runny nose unfortunately) so reluctant to take anything else.
Hi Becky. Sorry I must leave you all as must try and get some sleep.

No have not seen the raspberry Newtons, but we found a copy cat using strawberry. I much prefer strawberry to raspberries. Strawberries are my weakness, just love them!

Nite June! hope you can sleep. How about some saline spray to unstop the nose? No chemicals, no side effects, and it works.

OH NO, I just let a cat out, and saw my trash bin tumped over and contents scattered about the back yard! This is second time in a WEEK! not fun to get out and pick up smelly, old trash, now really wet from the fog. YUCK. I must chat with resident carpenter to make me a corral for my trash bins or something, this is not fun!

We got tired of 'coons knocking over our cans, even when empty, and now have them battened down with tarp straps.

Must get busy here, bed still not made and it is almost 8 am. NOT that I expect tech to arrive first thing, but if I am not ready, well, that is the time they would. appointment is for between 8 and 12 noon. I might be offline a while if they arrive and actually work on this line.
Catch you all later.

Hi Becky. Bye June. Will sneak in while you're sleeping and nab the biccies! MizT I have no idea what fig newtons are. While I love chocolate, I don't actually eat it much. I naturally lean towards savoury foods. the mug cake sounds tempting though.

They are pretty good. A little sweeter than the fig ones, but with a little big of a tang.

Always! And when he was little I made sure everyone gave him 2 presents. My mum always made him a cake for Christmas Day too. He had small parties until his 17th, then a very big 18th, but none since then. Maybe a 21st in the future.
