Heidi, my father once beat my mother up because she 'cancelled out his vote' by voting differently to him. At least yours is just dumb.

I am anxiously awaiting the results. After living in the US for so long I began to itch to be allowed to vote over there! Now we are getting almost as much coverage for the US elections as we get for our own I'm feeling the same again!

Got lots to do today but had to get my SA6 fix before I get started.
Heidi - my parents were married for 63 years before my Dad died. As far as I know their votes cancelled one another out at every election much to my father's chagrin - he never could change her mind (or mine, once I grew up).

Am I going to be the first to lose it so bad that no one will understand me cos I'll have everything so discombobulated? Boy - when I have days like today (confusing Ebony with Liz's Sammie)...well, I feel like I might as well just turn myself in.
I hate how that feels...to think I am understanding and then just to find out later I'm WAY confused!
You guys need to keep some close tabs on me! When it's time - let me know! I may not figure it out myself without you guys cluing me in!

Well..... Kentucky just gave it's 8 electoral votes to McCain. Let's hope the rest of the country proves to be smarter.

I don't know how they can claim that with only 12% of the vote in.

I find it hard to laugh at. The Idjit actually BELIEVES it!!!!

My ancient (13 year old+ blind) rabbit just passed away. Nobody believed that she could live as long as she did. She lived with my chickens for quite a while, then with the pigeons. She did enjoy life.

Heidi, sorry to hear about your poor old rabbit. I have never heard of one living that long. she must have been well cared for to enjoy such a long life.

Suzy, driving into London is not something I would contemplate doing. Richard takes roughly one and a half hours to travel about 35 miles. Unfortunately you are correct about the cost of driving in London. The office he goes to is 100metres inside the charging zone so it costs him £8 ($16) everyday.

How do you like my new avatar? We took a drive to the beach today and I took this picture. We had lunch and then took a walk on the sand and the boys, all three, played catch.

Suzy, I agree with you. I don't like driving more than 20 minutes to work and even that annoys me. I love to drove, anyplace other than to work.

Heidi, sorry about your rabbit. I didn't know the life span of a rabbit but your's must have had a wonderful life.

No rabbit breeder I have ever talked to has heard of a rabbit living that long. I bought Eric this summer because I knew Todd wouldn't last that much longer, and I love having a rabbit around.

MizT., did you see that a woman at the NASCAR race in Texas Sunday was struck by a stray bullet that came through the roof of her camper (caravan)? The authorities said it had traveled a long way. I had no idea you would miss so badly.
