Julie - I've got a SIL just like that - however he hasn't convinced my daughter of anything political yet!! But he always contends that they might as well not vote (compulsory here) because they just cancel each other out.

According to Tami's site Obama now has 284 votes - more than enough.

297 votes now - this looks like a landslide for Obama!

Julie, I didn't take it as you speaking negatively about your SIL. Each family has been and are "divided" over elections. I figure that each person votes their conscience and let the chips fall where they may.

So how can they call it for Obama in CA when only 14,000 votes have been counted?????

Exit polls = people are asked who they voted for as the exit the polling place...

333 now for Obama - he got Florida.

So the 'exit poll' is an unoffical result, that is counted faster than the actual!

SIL told daughter that African American pastors were telling their church members how to vote. I don't know anyone who does EVERYTHING their pastor tells them to do.
