Is it my TOPP?

I am happy. I got post number 14000 and a TOPP. I can now concentrate on the ancient Greeks. I will be back later, or sooner if I get bored.

Two boys/men that I went to school with decided to end their own lives. One just after the end of the final year, the other a few years later. Both of them were outgoing and popular. The woman who introduced hubby and I chose to end her life a few years after we were married.

In my experience the questions are unending and unanswerable. It's an awful feeling for the people left behind, no matter how distant from the person, and I really feel for Susan and her son.

Tami, Ebob has a Math final today. She has actually studied this time so we'll see how she goes. Still no results from the Science or English finals last week.

Suzy, wish Ebob good luck for me. I am glad to hear that she studied. How is your paper going?

did a heap of gardening yesterday
just went out the back to have a look
and even if i do say so myself it looks great
planted heaps of herbs and weeded and mowed the small patch of lawn that i have,
only have it for the boys, to play in....

Hubby mowed the front lawn yesterday after I batted my eyelashes at him. It's regular sized...

so now we know what you look like Suzy hehe

Zusy, wonderful suggestion, Maybe I can hide in RENA's luggage and stow away for the trip! I am sure I could find a lovely hat over there! Best be careful batting your eyelashes at hubby, might get you more than a mowed lawn you know.

Now if my sewing machine worked, I would make me one! I have made hats before for my granddaughter and daughter, ages 5 and 15 at the time, OH MY that was almost 20 years ago! How time flies!

Tami, I attribute a lot of my stored trivia to helping with projects and reports for siblings, children, step children, nieces and nephews, neighborhood children. . . well you get the picture. It was one of the things I liked doing, reading, studying and then putting my thoughts into some order on paper.

Suzy, tell Ally that I think she drew a great picture of you. It is incredibly life-like.

I have a special message for Heidi. Do you have a World Market store in your area? In today's (Sunday) newspaper, there was 8-page ad for World Market. On page 7, it showed some peacock Christmas ornaments. Of course, you may already have dozens, but in honor of Jewel, I thought I should tell you. They sell some items online, but I don't know if they have their ornaments. You might take a look.
