Thanks for checking in, Susan, Been thinking of you. The brother of my daughter's best friend (still bf's 21 yrs later) took his own life 14 years ago. Devastating for my daughter not to mention his family who are still dealing with the pain of it, and will never fully get over it.

SUZY, I caught up with you last week, that was my sixth spot removed. I am now hunting a winter wide brimmed hat, cloth, not straw, Straw hats are a bit out of season now. All I have found is the little slouch hat fishermen wear, or a pricey felt cowboy hat! I want one just like my straw hats, like the one I had for our cruise, remember the blue one??

But I have noticed, our UV rating for sun, although less than summer is still above limits mid day. I can feel the burn even!

TAMI, do you have your beach icon in a regular photo? I love that photo and would like to use it as wallpaper on my puter, see a beautiful beach every time I sign online. I love the ocean!

JULIE, I find that turkeys are not cheaper other times of the year! And at my store they are sometimes not even available! I but and freeze a couple extra at the winter holidays and again at Easter, when they are again offered. I will try to get directions up here later this morning, IF I can catch up on reading today.

I think there is method to his madness, cooking turkey upside down! The back part of the turkey is more fatty than the breast and i think it cooking that fat is rendered, cooked out and would drip down and therefore self baste the bird! Off the top of my head here, so do not quote me, but it sounds reasonable!

My grandmother talked about using kerosene or turpentine! To me, tea tree oil smells a bit like turpentine.

Just wanted to say hello. I am helping Mitchell with a school project. He has to do a family tree of Zeus. He is studying Greek Mythology. Of course, it is due tomorrow.

Everybody seems to be hiding from me. I am getting tired of looking at pictures from ancient Greece. I did find one site that had all the pictures we need. Now just to cut them out and put them together in order.

Where is everybody?

Finished all the puzzles so will go bck to bed for a while. Hope you get that project finished Tami.

Have a good rest June. I am sure we will finish. We have the pictures printed, now we just have to type the labels and put it together on a board.

MizT, I lurve the smell of tea tree oil! I guess it’s a child hood smell. That and eucalyptus. My kids can’t stand them so I figure it’s about what you smell when you’re young.

The shops here are full of all kinds of hats at the mo – summer is starting! Why don’t you pop over for a visit and pick up a hat while you’re here??
