I'm back. After the tractor repair, had to run into town for dog food and Chinese carry-out. The tractor tire repair, in and of itself, wasn't bad, but the tires are so worn that I had to order 2 replacements for the front. That'll cost a couple of hundred $ each. It never stops.

Now to go back out and feed the critters.

Heidi - talk about 'when it rains, it pours' - girlfriend, you are getting WAY more than your fair share right now.

Been out most of the day and am now watching more baseball play-offs.
Mikey's b'day is tomorrow, so I'm not sure what we'll be doing. It's up to him since he's got the big cast on his arm.
I will be making him a German Chocolate cake tomorrow morning.

Hi Vici, Bean, Ruby and Rolanda. I think June is a TOPP magnet. She has a lot more than all the rest of us combined! She deserves it, though, with all she's been through lately.

Well, I'm really exhausted. No nap at all today. I don't have the energy to get up and feed the dogs, so I can go to bed. And my back is on the warpath again. The previous epidural has worn off, and the next is scheduled for next Wednesday morning. I'm already looking forward to it.

Must go and find some lunch soon.. when my floors are dry that is - just mopped them !!

A chilly 56 F ( 13 C) out this morning but it will warm today to above average temp for October. I am proud of hubby, he has not insisted on heat at night yet. Poor dear, ever since his open heart surgery 7 years ago, he is always cold if the temps drop even a tiny bit. I cover him with his quilt when I wake for that night time stroll, maybe that is the difference??

Oh, what a nice wifey you are! I think that is my hubby's problem, he is not sleeping well lately and the temp keeps varying so much.
I actually think a lot of his prob is the fact that when he gets home from work, he has to have a nanna nap and sleeps for a couple of hours on the couch, then wonders why he has probs at night

What a loverly day I've had today....
MizT very kindly sent me a link so that I could work out prefixes, time zones and area codes to make international calls...I didn't have a clue but lo and behold on the 4th attempt Miss Vici answered the phone...BIG excitement....its amazing she could understand a word I was yabbering so fast!!!We chattered on for nearly 19 minutes...I checked the phone bill...it didn't seem so long!! Next we need webcam.....arghhhhhhh!

No Rolanda...I didn't get everything done today that I was meant to but who cares.....bought a couple of chocolate mud cakes instead...I had more fun on the phone!!

Viv is off to Ballarat tomorrow and so I won't be able to connect with her while I'm in Geelong / Anakie for the paintballing...will just have to wait til Sunday.
