Evening all!

Here for a few minutes, but if I'm super dooper organised I might get back again later...

Warning: Family anecdote...
The girls packed their own bags. I then questioned them to make sure they had what they needed. Shorts? Check. Swimmers? Check. Socks? Check. Undies? Whoops.... Shoes? Check. Brush? Check. Baseball shirt? Check. Baseball pants. Check. Baseball glove? Oh, better get that.....

My friend is still in hospital. They have said she has to stay in until at least Tuesday - which means her Saturday night tickets to see Billy Elliot (a birthday present) will go unused....

Forgot to ask about deodorant! I saw Ally put hers in, but didn't ask Ebob....

I might have only thought I posted about my friend, or told someone in an email... She has had headaches and is dehydrated (this woman drinks 3 litres of water a day!!!) and severe stomach pains. Luckily she works in a medical centre and when she showed up at work they insisted on an examination and then hospital admission. They've been eliminating things and are now looking into ulcers. She is still a little dehydrated after being on a drip/IV for 3 days. This is the mum of the OCD girl, whose hands are a total mess at the moment - she obviously isn't coping....

Alison, how do you feed twins and post! We need to crown you Queen Superwoman....

Broni, protective gear is supplied, other than the groin protectors which are optional for girls.

LOL Broni, I imagine they would be! The catcher usually wears them, but not many of the other girls do. Ebob won't be catcher, probably an outfielder!

The people who own the horses were going to take it home while we were away, but now they are going to feed our dogs and birds so will probably keep the horses here. I let the male horse in the yard today because he is good at doing edges, then forgot to take him out before dark... could be a LOUD night!

Feeding consists of two bottle propers that I use together at the same time. Even if one is asleep, I wake her up so they will eat at the same time.

Used the leftover steak in a stir fry the next night and it was still pink. Still have plenty of steak now in the freezer.

I'm smarter than a 5th grader is on in the background. A name came up as connected to the Eureka Stockade. I worked with a guy called that same name years and years ago!! He was a total perv. He is probably the reason I don't paint my toe nails - he once told me I should because he thought it was really sexy..... ewewewewewew... He gave me the creeps!

Missed you all by a mile, DRATS!

Have coffee with me, something warm feels good today. It is a cool cool morning in Alabama, temps slipped into the 40's this morning and have fallen since I got up. Waiting for sun to come up and warm the house, it is a tad chilly inside. This is a temporary cool spell, in a couple or 3 days, will be back to the more normal high 50's for a low.

I put a quilt over hubby and his bed warmer kitty. Kitty purred her appreciation.

Broni, I always loved leftover BBQ. When we would grill for a family dinner, I brought out LOTS of extra meats, even hot dogs, filled the grill so I did not have to cook meats for several days!
