Healing is taking its sweet time...sleep is elusive and caring for the necessary things has kept me preoccupied...thus limited SA6 time. Afternoon all! Just dropping in for my lunch break.

June, this will be Dana's second year. She played a little last year. Not as much as the experienced players, but she got to go out there. Half the time she looked like she had a rod along her body - no bending at all! We're hoping this year she will be more relaxed.

I forgot I hadn't told you about the girls' trip away. They travelled aaalll day to get there and then did it again on the way back. First an hour in the car, then a few hours on the train, then another few hours on a bus then again in a car. On Friday we left home at 8am and they didn't arrive at Mum's until 8.30pm.

Every day they walked my brother's 3 chihuahuas (Mum is minding them while bro travels around Australia for a year). They did 3 paintings each, 2 assisted, 1 their own design and creation. They had a day trip to Swan Hill and Mum took them to bargain shops that had them gushing. They helped Mum dress models and assemble the courtroom. Apparently people are already saying it looks amazing. They walked to the local shops on their own a few times - aren't tiny towns wonderful? Ebob read 3 books. AND they didn't argue or even say one mean word to each other the WHOLE TIME!

Suzy (I know you're not leaving this minute!)...WOW, sounds like the girls had a lot going on! Wishing you guys a wonderful trip and hope Ebob enjoys the play.

I'm in baseball heaven today! 3 play-off games on television. October is my favorite month!!!
475 bulbs in the ground...202 still waiting to be planted - and that just one delivery. I think I may have a couple hundred more coming! I went a little crazy.

Vici, the only baseball we get to watch will be Ebob playing this weekend. I think they televise some games on cable, but I haven't seen any on free to air TV. We cancelled cable because it took a bomb to get the kids out from in front of the TV. We'd turn it off, go and do something, and there they would be again!!

Rolanda I asked Viv to cancel her plans so I could meet her and she refused! How rude!!

Meant to mention Mum's next small town project - to get the big tree some publicity. Apparently even some locals don't know it's there. Her argument is that it's bigger than some other big trees that are set up as tourist attractions, why not promote it!

Now I really have to do some organising!! Hope I have time to drop in again tonight...

Rolanda - I know it seems I can't count...just hadn't opened the shipped box and had forgotten just how many I ordered! Needless to say, I'm quite pooped. So glad I had dug out most of the areas I want to plant when the ground was still soft this past spring.

Hello Friends! Listen, as a mother of 5 I just can't give a personal thank you to everyone who has welcomed me to this group. I have had an overwhelming welcome and as much as I would like to thank each and every one of you, it's not going to happen. So if that means I'll never be added to your friend list, I am going to have to accept that. The ages of my kids are 9,7,4, and the twins are 6 months. You are all very friendly and welcoming, who wouldn't want to surf this site for hours at a time?
