hi bean. what's new?

I was just writing a note to a friend.... I love getting mail....drove the mother of a friend of a friend into the city today for an appointment...she is disabled and can't use taxi's anymore and needs transport every fortnight. It is really difficult to stay at home and do your own thing once you reach your 80's. WAs doing the same thing yesterday for 88yo MIL yesterday. Hope someone will do the same for me one day. That is if I live that long....

Becky, talking about lobster in September in Maine brought back sad memories. We we in New Brunswick, Canada waiting for a ferry to take us across the river into Maine on September 11, 2001 when we heard the news of the Twin Towers in NY. We did not go across as we would not have got back to our friends that night. They were going to buy lobsters for dinner that night but all that went by the boards! We did however have lobster about a week later in Saint Anne , Nova Scotia.

Both daughters had lobster but I had a char grilled octopus salad. Laura tried some lobster and decided she liked it too. Not sure I will be taking her out for dinner to often!

that salad sounds exciting june. daisy tried lobster once and loved it too. how do they develope such expensive taste buds at such a young age!??

i wasn't worried. just joking around. i know you wouln't get upset really about a little name mispelling. you're way more sensible than that. besides if we did get mad everytime someone mispelled our names we would be very mad people indeed! look how many times i get the double "n" in mariana. IT'S 1 "N" YOU MORONS! Oh, sorry. i forgot we weren't going to get mad. besides, it is mostly RR who uses the double "n" and i quite like him. and, he is definatly NOT a moron. (i kinda love him.) wait...who's mad? was it me? you? RR? the mormons? i mean the morons. i forget! good night!

Mariana, it is MizT who also hits the double N on occasion. I know how you spell your name, but my fingers will go walkabout all on their own on occasion. YEP, backspace was my favorite key on puter also, till I started using firefox to get here. Now, I type away and then look at the page full of red underlines when I finish. most of the time, the auto spell check on firefox can figure out what I meant to type hehehe.

i honestly couldn't care less. even if you spell it maryanna. you can put 3 "n"s in if you want! still wouldn't bug me. it's all good.

Hello, lovely SA6 people! After all the fanfare of returning to site last week, I disappeared again - got busy, got sick, had a puppy to house-train, still have a hubby at home - so did not even come up for air in days. Have just read easy from the last few days and a few pages here.
Don't really understand what happened, don't really want to know what happened. Just pleased to be back amongst you all. Hope all is well with you and I especially hope I haven't missed any birthdays!!

The man who bought our business and his new driver are being called 'dumb and dumber' by our former customers. Did I tell you that they blew the motor up in the truck? I could have cried. We looked after that thing like it was a baby and two weeks later they kill it!

Puppy house-training is not going well tonight. After several days without a mistake, puppy didn't feel like going outside or on the special puppy mat but did it on the carpet! Tiles I can handle, carpet I can't!!
