Well hubby made the 6 hour(roundtrip) drive to see Brendan play after a bad day at work. He called at halftime and Brendan had not gotten in during the first half. That caused me to eat a half a bar of chocolate! He was not happy and he was freezing because the temp dropped dramatically. 10 minutes before the end of the game, he txted me that Brendan was in! Yeah! He stole the ball and almost scored! I don't think Jerry will ever make the trip again though! I may go to his game on Saturday.

Stella, good to see you again. You have had a sore rear for a long time, and I'm glad to see that you are taking care of it.

I went to Ian's game at our big rival school. They killed us last year. It wasn't pretty. We beat them 11-1. The coach and I tried to hold the boys back and made them pass it 5 times before scoring, but it was hard holding them back because they were so hyped to beat the school that always beats us. Even playing the kids that don't get to play much and putting them as forwards didn't stop them, although it could have been much worse. Ian did restrain himself and only scored once with one assist.

CynB - so good to see you back in the mix! Sorry you fell ill after your wonderful trip. I know what the retired hubby syndrome is like. We worked opposite shifts for years...saw each other about 10 days a month (that is full days together, rather than partial) - so I had lots of free time. It was quite a shock to the system when we were together all the time. Took some getting use to!

we had rain overnight and although today is cool, I had to sleep with AC on low to keep out the HUMIDITY. We need the rain, hope it continues today as forecast. My lawn was getting a crunch to it when one walked across it.

VICI, yes, I got a very short message from Rolanda in answer to my inquiry. " busy busy couple of days" was her answer. she will be back when her life slows down some.

CynB, good to se you back online, we must tell your hubby you get at least ONE POST A DAY to say Here I Is! Hope puppy soon is trained and nothaving accidents. I used crate training for pups, I actually trained pups for others when I lived on the farm about 10 years ago. Hubby was away all day, just me and my garden and compost pile, crate training pups for people who worked kept me somethng to do and a few $$ that were all mine hehe.

ok mizt you're forgiven. i take it back...gan. i love watching the kids' sports. it is nt quite as fun though if they don't play. i'm so glad brenden go some time in. this is 2 games in a row for him, so he is moving up! yeah ian's school. are you one of the moms that scream on the sidelines or do bite your knuckles and silently hope for the best?

i have been told never to yell at games. it would be way too embarrassing for benny. he doesn't understand that there are so many moms hollaring that i wouldn't even be noticed. oh well.

elsa is a crazy baby today. i've got my work cut out for me. she wants her coat on, off, on, it's the wrong one, not zipped, zipped half way etc. she looks alot like vici's screaming girl this morning. ok, off to the closet to put coats away. maybe she will want a blanket and a nap instead.

i got a new youtube up again. this is so hilarious, i cried. go get a good laugh!

Oh Mariana, I am so glad I do not have a 2 year old! My kitty who is always on the wrong side of the door is trying enough at this stage of my life! Hope the girl will go down for a nap and wake all sweetness. Also hope she is not feeling unwell but just has not been able to put it into words for you yet.

Boy that is a clumsy sentence, but at the moment best I can do!
