Add 16x16 sudoku puzzles to sudoku.com.au?
I just spotted a Super Sized Sudoku Puzzle book, it contained puzzles using all the numbers 1-16, hence 16x16 sudoku puzzles. Are you able to introduce these to us here?

this would be good, I would like to see the 'numbers' as hexadecimal i.e. 1-9,A,B,C,D,E,F.
This is because when using 'penciled in' numbers such as 12, it is hard to see if this it 12 or 1&2 whereas C is unambiguous

I have tried 16x16 puzzles and only completed one so far. They are hard and would be a good addition to the site.

I would like the 16x16s too - have had a go at a couple of easy's, haven't finished one yet. I like vdV's hexadecimal type, letters and numbers.

The 16 x 16 puzzles are great. They take me ages to work through, but mainly because there is no room to put in the possibilities. It is also harder now to do a 'paper' puzzle after years of doing them online. I would love a blank for a 16 x 16, so I could transfer the puzzles and work on them here. Having said that, can you organise another couple of hours in the day too Gath? lol

The Mr Wisdom's Whopper Sudoku book does the 16 x 16's using A - F and 0 - 9. They are challenging but very addictive.

Hi, Gath! I think it would be terrific if we could have some 16 x 16 puzzles. (And maybe even an occasional 25 x 25!) The 16 x 16's that are easiest to work with have all letters rather than the number/letter combo. Please see what you can do, Gath!
Thanks!!!!!!!! Jane

Gath, could the 16x16 puzzle be a little smaller so that we wouldn't have to scroll up and down continually to work it? I know vdV said I could change my screen resolution, but I don't want everything to be smaller.

Gath has fixed the three bugs
1.removes all penciled in entries that are letters ie A-G
2. "Automatically remove Possibilities" checked, doesn't always remove all in the 4*4 square, rows and columns OK
3. Letters do not grey out when all found in the puzzle.
Thanks heaps Gath

For those that can not fit the 16*16 on their screen:
if you are using a recent version (7) of Windows Internet Explorer you can zoom the screen in and out with "Ctrl"+ and "Ctrl"- (ie the control key and the + key [or - key]). You can also use the zoom button at the bottom right of the window.

Does anyone know where I can buy a book that has 16X16 puzzles using 0-9 and A-F? I know there are a few books out there, but I'm having a hard time finding it on the internet.
