Hello SA5ers...anyone at home? Most likely not....but I've been reading and have a lotto say today.....Mary/Manly Happy 37th anniversary to you and Mr. Mary....Suzy, I don't remember having wished you and Mr. Suzy Happy 18th Anniversary, so hope it too was great. Loved you and Lee sharing what you had planned and how it is....you know plans only stop you from living life, so I'm glad you went on to live , learn and love!
Rolanda...Always glad to welcome another to the ranks of "great' anything. Congratulations on the birth of your great nephew...also to the rest of the family!
One more thing...Suzy.....You ARE a working mom...all moms are....! Have a great day all!

Hi all! Didn't make it in last night - fell asleep!! Or this morning, ironed instead... The sun is shining for the first time in what seems like weeks (probably more like 12 days) so I have a load on the line and another in the machine.

Just can't stop swearing this morning. Sorry guys!

MizT and June, when we were cat owners (in the US, didn't want to put them in quarantine so they went to good homes) we had to shut our bedroom door to avoid early morning wake up calls. At first we only had one cat, got a second and the door was no longer scratched to pieces!

Well the weather out on Morton Bay is beautiful. The sun is shining, blue skies 25c or 77f with a gentle breeze. We went the long way around Green Island and have set anchor on the sheltered side. The table up on the flybridge is laden with fresh fruit, cheese and seafood. The corks have been popped from the wine and champagne and I don't think we will need to replace them. Still waiting on vdV to radio in when he gets closer so he can drop Gail off. Could not have asked for a better day if we tried girls.

(pant pant sigh) Oh dear, am I late? I got here as fast as I could! I brought orange juice, how about a Mimosa? and is that boiled shrimp I see? Yumm Yumm, what more could a girl ask!

a temp of 77 degrees, mighty fine, yes! sounds just about right. What is that I see over to the right? cannot quite make it out. Broni, you must point out all the sights and things of interest.

Nothing as fine as enjoying the world from a boat at ancor. the gentle rocking is hypnotic. I think I feel a nap comming on. someone please make sure I stay in the shade, as the sun moves across the sky .

Hi all! I brought sunscreen, and a huge shade cloth... Grabbed my wind jacket on the way out, lucky I did too, there's a cool breeze.

Rolanda, did you bring leftover slice? I brought salsa and chips, banana bread and a margarita fixings.

Drat, forgot to take the clothes off the line before I left, hang on while I call home and delegate...

Stop rushing MizT, this is a relaxing day and you are right on time. Mimosas sound perfect for starters and yes the food is international as well as local but all fresh.
Over to the right is the Port of Brisbane where all the container ships come in, we call the big cranes there giraffes because from this distance that is what they look like. That is the mouth of the Brisbane River, we can go for a cruise down the river to Brisbane later, perhaps we will wait until dusk the city will look very pretty with all its lights on.
See all the colorful little sail boats, they are having a race today around the island. They come from Manly habour which I will tell you about later.
Yes that gentle rocking cetainly lulls you into a mellow mood.

Good Idea Suzy, the sun still has a bite but think you will only need the wind jacket later the breeze is quite warm still. Harldy a cloud in the sky and I can see the half moon sitting up there too. Oh look down in the water a turtle just popped its head up to say hello, you can still see him the water is so clear.

Broni, thank you for sharing the Calliope with all of us SA5-ers! What a relaxing way to spend time with friends! Feel free to help yourselves to fresh fruit (lots of strawberries and cherries) and some freshly squeezed juice, as well!

Hi Julie, how are you? Do you want ot join the cruise around Morton Bay?
Mamacita, yes we have speakers up on the flybridge so you can hear the music where ever you are on the boat. Kate from Melb made those finger sandwiches, aren't they just scrummy, must get the recipe! Oh look the wind has picked up a bit over near Wellington Point and the windsurfers are out, you know on low tide you can walk from the point out to that tiny island surrounded by water. Bella loves it there, she spends most of her time spashing in the puddles until she totally disappears in one that is too deep!

Broni do you mean to say Gail and I have to jump out of the plane?? You were meant to wait for us!!! Just as well we are into sky diving...just make sure you dang well pick us up and do leave us in the bay!!! I know i would float....but!!!!
BTW we enjoyed the film, ate far too much for lunch but feel sure we will manage a few prawns and the odd glass of bubbly!!! If you leave us treading water long enough we will be famished!!!

Sorry Julie you must have snuck on while I wasn't looking, hope Bella didn't slobber on you?
Bean nooooooooooo, you are meant to land on the boat (the pointy end!) think your parachuting skills may need some improving, unless vdV has one of those aquaplanes.

Yes Rolanda, but they don't last long up north so enjoy it while you can. The low clouds in the background make it more dramatic.
Better send out a search party for Bean, but she did say she can float!
