I have now submitted my appropiate attire for the party, if not for my personal shopper, would not have made it! many thanks Vici, I loved lots of them, but unfortunately I had to resize them, they came through huge, so running out of time. I got the requirements, boa ( IF GATH will pass that one, a bit risque hehe) and tiara and a sun hat,and supt and shoes, will have to be satisfied with that. huumm, need a wrap to turn that suit inot something for the breakfast . . . Oh well, too late now. I do hope they get delivered in time hehehe

I had to get back here through a back door! server error, again, timed out. the it would not let me on. I could open my page, then get to forums and to SA5, back to server problems and looking for a way in again I suppose

OH, Vici, there were so many people there, and Jim ws soo happy to see Al, this has been hard on him, his younger brother dying so suddenly. Jim's daughter was there, as my dad used to say, High pregnamt. She is over due by 3 days already and no signs of impending labor. I hung our with her the evening, she is a cute young Mom to be. Jim's wife had to work, "we cannot let you off, there is noone to cover your shift". I think that is soo sad. so it was doubly important for Al to be there for his friend.


Al bought us a sandwich on the way home, I did not have to come home and fix a light meal, that was nice. I had served our main meal mid afternoon, but we were both hungry by 8 pm.

OK, bed time now, way past my bed time actually. hope to see you all tomorrow for the party and i do hope the site behaves itself!

I'm home! Almost 4 hours today, so the lighter weight didn't save me much time. MIght have had something to do with the fact I loaded my bag just as much as last time and just walked further before refilling..

Rolanda - no old lady's shopping trolley... I had a friend who tried to do that and it just broke! NO footpaths around here... I'm slip slop slapping, hatting and sunglassing... I even remembered my chap stick today - but forgot my water!! Gulped it down when I got home.

Hmmm, timed out too. I'm starting to wonder if it would be a good idea to start the party on a new page.... Though everything is slow opening for me today - not just sudoku, so maybe not.

MizT, I must have missed something. I am so sorry to hear of your loss! Losing a friend is hard..

Suzy, it was a brother of our friend Jim who died. I knew noone other than Jim. Al and I went to support him, cause his wife could not be there with him tonight. Jim was most appreciative. I had never met any of his family untill tonight. It is still very sad and hard to see a friend hurting so much over the loss of his brother.

OK< back to bed for me, hope the sand man comes quickly. I just had to check up on my shopping and NO, it has not been delivered yet, bummer.

I have missed reading about it too MizT. So wonderful of you and Al to be there to support his mate Jim. What a sad time for him.
I think that sucks that they would not let Jim's wife have the time off to attend.

Kym is well. Just got back from the hospital - visiting my sister who has just had her baby!

Anders Scott Trevaskis is now part of the family. Mum, baby and Dad are all well.
