First day of the renovations... and it has been a disaster. As we were going to be without the main bathroom for quite a few days I asked Dan(the bathroom fitter) if he would re-seal the downstairs shower, before he got round to tiling the floor in there. He did the reseal but found while preparing the floor for the tiles that there had been a bad leak on the shower and there was some rotting timber work. After investigation we now have no downstairs shower as it has all had to be ripped out to cure all of the problems the leak has caused. So now I am having TWO new bathrooms when we thought only one was needed.

June... I haven't seen Mamma Mia yet, but, how about taking Laura along?? Make her feel like part of the group, less alone?

Well, out to feed and water my critters. I've slept through most of the day, and haven't done much but read posts and rant a little. I need to actually do some work for a change.

Good morning all - anxiously awaiting news of Sharon, June. I was hospitalised with a bowel blockage 20 years ago. I have to say it was the worst pain I have ever experienced and I have had 2 babies, a couple of ops and was a regular migraine sufferer. Hope all comes good as it did for me after a few days.

Hi all...Brenda, totally feeling your pain. Our compressor died just as we were starting the texturing on our walls in the garage. Everything was out in the driveway (all Mike's woodworking massive saws and such) and we couldnt open the garage door to bring anything in. Of course it is a holiday (never do work on a holiday) and we had to drive 2 hours round trip to a Home Depot that was open in a bigger town. Finally got everything tidied up just a bit ago and came in.
Phew!

What is happening here today it is verry verrry quiet.

Just got done reading all the bruhaha (sp?) on Easy about schools and such. eaa - found your story about your kids and your farm very interesting

eaa for once you come in and you are not alone. Just popped in while I was eating my lunch and thought the site had crashed again, was going to blame Gail because she is away taking Dino for her tests.

I have said Hi Broni, Twice and it has disappeared into space.

I think that is great that Gail and Dino went to lunch before the tests. Hope Dino gets some promising news.
