Ruby - never played that "parent's page" puzzle before...the things I've been missing out on! Adoreable picture of Laura. Thanks for directing me there.

Heidi, keep putting the name of the song into the UT search engine. Or try the artist's name. When you get it, take the embed code and put it on your Update Details page.

Thank you, Rolanda. I'll bet Gail will say it's brilliant. In fact, you don't even have to import someone from Canada to do it. I'll wager that even an Aussie could video snippets from a meet-up and some how make them available to the others.

I asked for some input from the 'other side' of the ballot box on D & D the other day and have stirred up quite a response.... It was good that Angie was confident enough to express an opinion contrary to all those previously offered. I hope people will still be able to be friends after the election!!

Hello, Everyone! I hope you're all having a great day!

Heidi, I like the "eye" on p. 247. We have peafowl in our suburban neighborhood. They have been here for nearly 30 years when the area was still in the "country." When it was annexed to the nearest city, the peafowl were "grandfathered in." Now we have 1 LOONY neighbor (about 150 houses here) who got a lawyer to try to get rid of them. We have started a "Save the Peacocks" campaign.

They are Vici..I love flowers ...along with trees... I hope you don't feel 'left out' of the little people club...we need someone like you to be an honorary member to help us when we go shopping....you should see me trying to climb up the shelves in the supermarket to reach the top shelf!! LOL......

Ruby...I'm so glad you didn't mention weight...OMG!!!!

They are gorgeous birds, and truly add character to a neighborhood. Without them, the community would be like any other. They only make noise during the mating season, and you grow used to it quickly, if you're a reasonable person. Some people hate nature, though. I don't understand them at all.

Gail, please wish daughter Chloe a (belated) Happy Birthday.

Chloe was one of the 2 names considered for our granddaughter. (It didn't win, though we liked it very much.)

By the way, how is your friend Ecie? I hope she continues to progress!

re-scheduled to tomorrow. Gail has quick run from her place to my daughter's home. It is so nice to talk face-to-face for a change.
You can still check the latest on Ecie via the link on my page. She is home now and there are some pictures of her on her birthday, looking like the Ecie I know apart from the crutches next to her chair.

loved the utube heidi. also, so sorry about murphy. here are some "sorry for your loss" flowers.
june, my friend had the same thing as your daughter. she was a bit on the heavy side before her illness, and on the thin side after. it was the only good thing that came out of it. it was a nice reward for her as she was miserable. so here's to hoping that something good happens, and a speedy recovery!
