I'm so saddened by Sharon going into the hospital...although I'm glad they are taking her illness seriously. Thank goodness you are close by and there for your granddaughter, June. Blessings to you all - my goes out to you.

hanging out on the line won out, so I shall keep an ear out for raindrops today.

Now I have a LOT of reading to do fore hubby is up and wanting breakfast. Then hope to make a couple of meat loaves, one for dinner and one for the freezer. If I double cook for this next week, I shall have a weeks worth of food in freezer for after my little surgery.

MizT, I'm glad you don't seem to be feeling whats-his-name too badly. I have been watching and reading about his progress. I must be feeling maudlin at the moment because I am left with the feeling that there is too much pain in the world for some people.

Oh June.... Your poor granddaughter! Little girls should not have to be on morphine drips for pain!! I truly hope that they don't have to remove any necrotic bowel. My fingers (and everything else) are crossed that they caught it early enough.

Laura slept well and we have now done some jigsaws(Laura tells me where to put the pieces). Will ring the hospital later.

I was going to Mama Mia today with a friend so looks like that is out. Not sure if I should take Laura to see her Mum or Let her just keep having a 'holiday at Grandma's'
