Congrats on your win at the club, June. I hope it was still there when your Hubby got there.
Suzy, I'd keep on feeding the bower birds. Maybe a baby boy will remember your feedings and return next year.

Afternoon/Evening all! Not sure if 5.26pm qualifies as afternoon or evening?
We have had a busy, but wonderful day! The girls and I went to the local Animal Park. I thought the girls might be borderline too old for it, but I was very very wrong. We saw the Koala show (and got our picture taken with Henry the koala), the monkey show (mamarsets - so cute!), the crocodile show, the reptile show (the girls had their photo taken with Monte, a constrictor), and the dingo feeding (boy are they tough on each other!). We also walked one of the shorter nature walks (I was worried about splitting my stitches on the long one, which has been described as more of a rock climb) and the kids went down the giant slide several times.
The highlight - for me anyway, not necessarily the kids' favourite bit - baby koala came out of mummy koala's pouch and put on a show just for us - almost everyone else had already left the park. Soooooooooooooo cute!!!!! And the batteries were dead on the camera! Sob! I tried to take some with my phone, but won't know if they're any good at all until I download them.

Broni - that is quick! I was in on Friday, out Monday and I thought that was quick. Will be thinking of you.....
June is absolutely right about not overdoing it. I felt fantastic after 2 weeks, went shopping and lifted some heavy stuff, and put myself back to before I left hospital!! The moral is: no matter how good you feel, WAIT!

Congrats on winning the raffle. That's a great prize! Makes me want to see what's in the bottom of my freezer (maybe there is a roast hiding in there).

Ruby - I hadn't thought of that. I might put some blue stuff out too. Do you know what time of year they usually build their bower?

Good Morning sudoluland.
Smilies are not loading again, bummer, no coffee for us today!
A lovely rare cool night overnight, temps down to mid 60's, 17 C. Most unusual for July, this is an autum kind of night! should have cool nights for 2 more, and this morning I have doors and windows open and enjoying the cool natural fresh air! It will be hot by mid afternoon and AC will go back on, but these lovely hours in the morning are a treasure!

YEAH, the site gave me back my smilies! So I made coffee to celebrate.
Today I have to wash caps for hubby, how he manages to get a cap so dirty I do not know! Same way he gets all his clothes dirty I imagine, dirt just jumps up on him hehehe. Then I must peel more peaches and do something with them. Best get cracking. I will check back in later to see if any of our topsiders check in. Wonder where everyone has gone?

Broni, good advise from Suzy, take it easy, do not rush recovery, and this rule I taught to my patients way back when. . . If you cannot pick it up with two f9ingers of one hand, it is too heavy to lift for the first month at least!
If you just over tire yourself one day, you put back your recovery 3 days. would not take too many days in a row of overtiring yourself to be back at the day after surgery now would it?? Nursey Tricia has spoken!

I am trying to upload a photo to Flickr. I do it so rarely that I have to relearn how to do it each time. One day I will spend the time to work out how to use the site photo thing. Probably when we get broadband...
