at last, the peach butter is finished and I have 4 pint jars on the shelf. Miss the good smell in the house though.

today was much nicer than yesterday, no rain, humidity down, nice breeze. I had 2 loads of clothes on the lines today and they are dry, folded and put away.

Morning MizT! Off doing Hard and missed you, are you still around?

My bandage is still in place. I'm amazed as I usually can't keep bandages on for more than a couple of hours - and then I'm left with marks for weeks afterwards. Vanity gives us strength!!

MizT, have you ever noticed how eerie this site can be? I got shivers again today! The most recent was the 'shake the crumbs out of the keyboard' joke, the day after I had done that for the very first time in my life. Today the medium puzzle has a discussion about the Welsh language - 2 days after I explored that with d1! These sorts of things seem to happen constantly in here. I don't believe it's anything paranormal, just the result of having such a wide variety of people from a lot of different places, but it's not the sort of thing that happens on a day to day basis off this site - cause we usually see the same people we saw yesterday!

Clean all the wet areas.
Get my Ironing up to date.
Pick up Mum early afternoon, and take her grocery shopping and to the Bank.
Bring her back to my place after dropping the groceries back at her home.
Tuesdays she stays for dinner and sleeps overnight

Tomorrow.
Take mum to her montly Specialist Appointment.
afterwards to her Wednesday Dutch Club.
Maybe have a cuppa with the 'Dutchies' at the club.
Then do my Grocery Shop.
Then collapse when home with the said groceries.

I have a dinner party to cook for..
This Saturday is my youngest birthday.. He will be turing 19.
The Requested Birthday Menu:
Lasange, Garlic Bread, Salad
Apple and Rhubarb Crumble with Custard (Grandma has been asked by Birthday Boy to make it)
It's a Family Birthday Dinner

I'm off for an exciting day taking MIL to the Eye and Ear hospital to get her cochlear ear tested, more mapping etc and after that a visit to the specialist. I'll be lucky if I'm home by 6.30pm!! Just as well I don't have a life or a real job

But make sure it waits the 6 weeks or whatever Broni. Do not do things before the recommended time. AND do not overdo things before you go to hospital.We will all be thinking of you.

Jamie, who posts on this site is having a knee replacement done.
Tomorrow I think it is, she said she will be in for three days.
Then as you mentioned Broni's turn.
I am trying to be good and not do too much yet.
But I did do two loads of washing this morning.
I actually better go and get it in off the line.
I have had a relaxing day otherwise, phone ringing, and people calling in to see how I am.
Nice to have friends.
It has been a lovely day here.

A very warm day here too EWlise. I played bowls with a polo top and no jumper. I have just brought my washing in. I was sitting in the sunroom reading till all the birds saw me. Then it was magpies, lorikeets, crimson rosella, cockies,butcher bird, etc all wanting to be fed.

I won the raffle at the club today and just realise I did not bring it home so will have to go and collect it.

It is the makings of a roast dinner, and hubby has said he will go and pick it up for me. The club is only a couple of minutes drive from here.

I was sure that when I got this close a lurker would pop in
