Because we are using the waterbed base with a normal mattress I cannot lift the mattress to fit the sheets under. Once the sheets are changed I can manage till they ned changing again! Like you Gail i love new sheets and especially when they have been flapping on the clothesline.

You'll all have to come & join us here in Qld 24 today, beautiful sunny day - still in T shirts, although I do have jeans on. Nights are coolish. Have spent most of the day trying to get rid of dust - we're having the main bathroom renovated & things are messy, I keep telling myself it'll be better in the end - sure hope so

Evening all!
Bean - my guy doesn't make me strip right down, I keep on my underwear and he just peeks under and asks me if I am worried about anything there.
Rolanda - I have been lucky so far - no melanomas, only BCCs and SCCs. My grandfather had a whole bunch removed from his back though so I get myself checked for them every year or so. When you say 'your last 3', how many have you had total????

as for the orrible weather.. as I havent seen the news yet, or listened to the Radio today. cant say for the rest of WA, but here in my home, no problems..
part of the freeway (along side the river) heading into Perth was closed due to flooding, same in the city - Riverside Dve closed due to flooding from the river.
we have had a lot of rain..very heavy since last evening, very windy !!

I think 6 monthly is wise with melanomas in the mix. I usually only get motivated to go every 12 months or so. I've had 5 BCC's (assuming the eye one turns out to be a BCC) and 1 SCC, the first BCC when I was 29 and pregnant.
I've only had one mole removed and that was in my early 20's. I'd had several doctors tell me it should go (so black people thought it was pen, I thought it was a freckle and couldn't remember when I didn't have it so wasn't stressed.) I only got it removed when a doctor said he would do it on the spot. Could not believe how big it was!!! I guess I didn't believe it was anything but a freckle until I saw it out.

Hi Suzy and Rolanda and Lee and Gail and anyone else who may be around.
Nice weekend coming up for me here.
My hubby and son are going camping, leaving about 7.30am tomorrow morning and returning Sunday arvo.
I am going to Taree for an UnderCoverWear meeting and the launch of our new catalogue.
Looking forward to tomorrow night on my own !!
Glad to hear Broni is doing well.

Not sure of the name, but the top can be folded down if you like low riders, or kept up if you like them all the way up....

Hi Suzy,Rolanda and Elise, sorry to hear that your weather (in winter) is rotten. Today (middle of summer) it is dull and cool. The forecast says we should have a maximum of 21 but it is far cooler than that at present. Rain is forecast too.
To top it all our boiler has packed up again so we have no hot water or heating if we needed it and the contract repairer will not be out until Monday.

Suzy, fortunately we have an electric shower in our downstairs bathroom, so not quite a smelly weekend and if we were really desperate I could set the caravan up and use the shower in there.
What makes matters worse is that we have just had the renewal for the service contract and it states that '8 out of 10 repairs are made the same day' but I have never had this quick a repair. After pointing this out to the service desk operator I was told that the small print states that it depends on your area and what personnel they have!!
